  1. Hi, you use the imap server for your email provider however for the outgoing smtp server it should be your network provider. Mine is o2 so i use smtp.o2.co.uk with the same account security o2 originally set me up with. As for SSL that will be dependant on your email provider. Hope this helps
  2. Apologies if I state the obvious but.... Have you checked the glove box for anything loose and heavy? I have read the replies in this post but not the link so apologies if thats been suggested there. I made the mistake of putting my locking wheel nut key in there and it can make a similar noise to what you are describing and it could be something similar. Ohh and 2-0 one side of the office is evry quiet this morning
  3. Thanks, it's very dirty at the moment as I've been down in London earlier this week and parked it at my girlfriends. Unfortunately, they are building on her estate so lots of dust etc and not had chance to clean. Your's looked very shiny
  4. It could have been myself heading towards Overleigh along Hough Green quite close to westminister park IIRC. I did see a sunset going towards Saltney itself, didnt see you until the last minute myself.
  5. UNBASHED: Sorry you posted your response as I was posting my reply and got distracted with the call from Stoneacres. I know what you mean about main dealers and I did have a test drive at Nissan Chester (Lookers) and wasn't that impressed but it was early days for that dealership opening - they were already an established Vauxhall and Renault dealership though. I'll report back my experience with Stoneacre but so far so good as they got back to me in a reasonably quick time and answered any questions I had quickly and with answers I expected. Thanks for responding and looking Andy
  6. Thanks Pete, I must admit the posts I did see were a couple of years old and it was probably when the dealership was based in Huntington. However that said I do know people who have had issues with the vauxhall and Renault side of the house. I phoned Stoneacre and the servicing department were busy but the lady took full details of the car including mileage and previous levels of servicing and said they would call me back. They called back quite quickly and confirmed a P1 was due and booked me in at a cost of £90 which will not invalidate my warranty. I'll let you know how I get on. P.S I'll keep an eye out for you, my reg ends in SBY on an Azure Roadster :-) Cheers Andy EDITED as Huntigton not Huntingdon... d'oh
  7. Hi All, Just after a bit of advcie really. I'm due a service in the next 600 or so miles as I've done 8k+ since march . The car is on an 06 plate and has been serviced annually (23.4k on the clock) with the service types being P1, P2, P1 and P3 in March so I believe I'm due a P1. I'm looking to see if anyone can recommend anywhere in or around Chester to perform this service, I've searched and can only find that Nissan Chester isn't the place to be going.. A colleague who used to own a zed did recommend Stoneacre in Wrexham, they are no longer a Nissan dealership but he did recommend them as they still employ Nissan tech's and use Nissan approved consumables/parts but without the Nissan hourly rate. So if anyone can recommend somewhere or can comment on Stoneacre I would really aprpeciate it. Many thanks Andy
  8. Hi, I'm 6'4" and carry a little excess weight.... Comfort wise the only thing I've found in my roadster but this is fairly typical of most cars I've driven is the fact my knee's are close to the steering wheel this is with the seat almost fully back (i prefer to lean slightly backwards). With the roof up there's plenty of clearance but with the roof down I do feel the wind quite a bit on the very top of my head/hair. On longer journeys I find it quite comfortable but find after about 90 to 120 minutes I'm ready for a stop and stretch of the legs. My seats are the GT leather ones, not sure this makes any difference at all. I cant believe Mr Orange you have hardly used your roof in the last couple of months... I think mine has been down more than up even driving into work for 7am Cheers
  9. I have seen this a couple of times too... Well I usually hear it first I'm in an Azure Roadster 06 plate although I believe I may have a twin around the area too although I havent seen it yet.
  10. Thanks for the warm welcome guys. I've uploaded a couple of pictures to my gallery and hopefully you should see them in this reply..... ... You would never guess I work in I.T would you I will try and get some more at the weekend if the weather is ok but I have a funny feeling I wont have time for such things Thanks once again for the welcome.
  11. Hi All, I've been registered for a while now using the excellent forums to research buying a zed. Well I found one and picked her up yesterday, very pleased with my purchase so thought it was time to introduce myself and my car. It's an 06 Azure Blue Roadster, totally standard with GT pack and 15k on the clock. The only issue I ahve found when i went to pick the car up was the paint on the rear bumper next to the O/S tail light had cracked, I never saw the issue when I previously viewed the car but thankfully my girlfriend noticed it yesterday before I drove off and they will arrange to repair. So onto me, I'm Andy, I work in chester and live in Ellesmere Port for my sins. I perviously had an 02 Celica 190 which had been a pleasure owning for 5 years and I have to say I was a little sad to see it go. Thansk for listenening. cheers P.S I can't upload to photobucket from work so will do that from home in the next couple of days.
