  1. You forgot to rinse and dry! Either that or WE NEED AFTER PICS TOO
  2. Welcome to the OC It's a glorious weekend to acquire a new Zed. I'm sure you'll look back on this bank holiday weekend with fond memories for years to come
  3. Hi Harry. That pic has me assuming you're pretty handy with a spanner. To this day I've still not discovered where the safe place to put the axle stands is once the car is jacked up using the jacking points! Looking forward to reading about your exploits with your zed
  4. My bad. No wonder I never know if people are coming or going
  5. Going off topic..... But this could be Mrs Gangzoom scaring modified turbo'd Zeds in her Model 3 in the near future. They look RAPID!
  6. Should have guessed that was your rear end beading away at the bottom of the forum site
  7. The reflections are so crisp, my 10yr old daughter was even commenting on your trainers More pics needed to show off that Nismo rear
  8. Interesting little read. A friend of mine ran a Nissan Leaf for a year as his commuting car to and from work Warrington to Manchester, then an R35 on weekends. Cost him peanuts to run and coped well with that commute of 100 miles a day. He missed the noise of a combustion engine though. So, being a true petrolhead he's replaced the Leaf with a Mustang Convertible! I think you'd approve of him Stan as he's also kept a little MG for the past 30yrs. Recently acquired a 4 door Aston too! Keeps an estate Passat for camping duties though.
  9. Very sinister "lurking in the shadows" like a crocodile at the watering hole ready.......TO POUNCE!
  10. Welcome back to Zed ownership. Definitely need pics
  11. Wow........these guys make anything seem possible.
  12. One for SuperStu. Spotted this in Hong Kong. Driver is still sitting in it so I only took a sneaky pic from the rear
  13. Nice job on the headlights and bodywork. The Solution Finish mentioned by Zmanalex is a good about. It's a very concentrated paint/dye. A little goes a very long way
  14. The times I have had comments at work with a hint of sinister undertones like "You must be doing alright to drive a posh car like that" It's normally from non car people that don't realise it's a 14 yr old car worth less than the 2 yr old focus that they're driving. Just jealousy and spite from bitter people unhappy with their own lives. Often their faces change to a nod of impressed acceptance when I tell them it's an 05 car that's worth about £5k!
  15. Almost looks like you have a single piece wrap around windscreen
  16. Not only envious of those rims but also your detailing session on them. Love those pics of your rim prep are Must be one of my favourite most satisfying detailing job.
  17. £1350 is an amazing price on a zed as a first car. Manchester youngsters won't get anything near that.
  18. Some of my younger workmates are paying that on a Polo and Corsa as their first car. Probably at least double that for a zed!
  19. Doesn't even come close to a white Nismo 370z imho. And I'm not just saying that as a blindly loyal Zed owner. Looks wise there's nothing really memorable or special. Even prefer the Nismo rims, both MK1 and mk2 rims are more special.
  20. Reminds me of the old Z3M coupe. Haven't seen one of those in years........were meant to be quite good if I remember correctly.
  21. According to Fitment Industries across the pond, your ideal first car isn't a Corsa or Polo but a 280bhp rwd Zed! Goto 8m 10s Insurance companies would laugh at that choice here.......ALL THE WAY TO THE BANK
  22. Welcome to the OC Always good to see another zed go to an enthusiastic and caring owner.
