  1. To top up, a 5w30 will be fine. Even 0w40, 0w30, 5w40 etc will be OK as im assuming it's only going to be a couple hundred ml and not a big volume in relation to the total volume. The recommended oil is 5w30. Costco do 4l of 5w30 Castrol edge for £29.99 incl VAT for future oil changes;)
  2. I went to hospital with a toilet brush up my arse. The doctor said, "How did this happen?" I said, "Well I met this bird in a club, one thing led to another and we ended up back at mine..." He said, "Into the kinky stuff was she?" I said, "No ... my wife was home".
  3. Was down at the gym yesterday and noticed a hole in my trainer big enough to get my finger in. Problem is she has now lodged a formal complaint and I'm barred for life!
  4. When I first got my zed, the first place the rear stepped out was exiting a round about where the exit was an incline and in the rain. It's surprising how little poke it needs on this exit to lose the rear if the zed is not completely straight before zooming off. Seven years later I still managed to unsettle the rear a little on this exit despite using it every day on my commute. As others have said, caution on accelerating when the steering wheel ain't straight in the wet!
  5. Hope the damage wasn't serious. I remember watching one of those TV cop programs where a woman drove into the back of a stationary car AT SPEED at the toll booth. Blamed faulty brakes She was in a new Beemer too! Just be thankful you weren't on a motorbike
  6. I've used Carlack 68 nano systematic care for about 5 yrs. It's a good paint cleanser and sealant all in one. After a wash and clay you'd think the paint was clean but this manages to pull more dirt from the paint onto the applicator pad. I've never relied on it's sealant properties alone as I've always applied collinite wax ontop. So I can't really comment on it's durability on it's own. I'm assuming that you're better off durabilty wise with this under your wax than a pure cleanser stage followed by wax. On the downside, if using it by hand yourself it is harder to apply and buff off than similar all in one's like autoglym SRP.
  7. Paddy asked his wife what she'd like for Christmas. She said, "I'd love a black I-Pad" So he gave her a left hook and a shiner!
  8. What a nutter https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gYm9vCPLoG4
  9. These snowmen would scare the snow outta your snowman..... http://www.break.com/pictures/the-best-of-12-7-12-snowman-massacre-2394149
  10. Woman at 1.15 looks like she's got some combat skills. Snowman was a split second away from getting an ass whooping!
  11. 5 spokes and big lips.........MATCH MADE IN HEAVEN!
  12. You'll probably find even plain water and a MF will do now!
  13. Personally, I wish the zed DIDN'T have the headlamp washers. Bonnet ends up covered in screenwash which dries leaving streaks resembling soap scrum!
  14. ONE OWNER FROM NEW That is quite a find.......Christmas has indeed come early. Sunset Orange really is the most mesmerising colour at night under the neon lights. A warm welcome from a fellow sunsetter
  15. With the cold weather more electrics on maybe? Using the AC more to demist screen? Or are you leaving the car with a full tank and waking in the morning to find half empty......SLEEP DRIVING? :1:
  16. I love this guy Master Wong. Better one liners than Arnie! POOOOOM!!
  17. 1. I love how well the zed acts as a blank canvass for body mods. I never get tired of veiwing pics of zeds with different kits or rims. Despite there being the occasional OTT kit, I think the majority of stuff i see is carried well by the Zed. 2. I love the mix of curves and creases in the Zed's shape. Curvey enough to be sexy.......angular enough to be aggressive. The shape also gives a nice mix of reflections and shadows to show off the wonderful colours they come in. Which leads me to....... 3. SUNSET ORANGE! May look bland on an overcast day but at night, under the glow of the streetlights etc........IT'S ON FIRE. After over 7 years I'm still mesmerised by the colour at night and parking in the farthest corner of a car park just gives me longer to admire the colour as i walk back to the car after a late night shop.
  18. My belts started squealing when the weather turned cold. At first just when really cold. Then every morning. Got the belts tightened on my 05 and all is well. Garage said the only time consuming bit was removing and refitting the undertray.
  19. As mentioned above, 5w30 is the recommend, but looking at the temperature ranges for alternatives a 40 weight should be fine also. Until 25th November Costco is doing 4 litres of Castrol Edge 5w30 for £24 incl VAT! If you prefer Mobil 1 they also do 5 litres of 0w40 for £29.
  20. You think no petrol is bad management. I went to Burger King once and I kid you not........THEY WERE OUT OF BURGERS! I bet someone got a right rollocking for that balls up.
  21. I know the feeling. Years ago I got a battery from Costco. Their own brand with "5yr garauntee" stamped on it. 4yrs and 11 months and it died. Went back to Costco, receipt in hand. It'd been so long they didn't sell their own brand anymore........so they gave me a brand new Bosche one!
  22. Went for a curry at lunch down Manchester's curry mile and saw a sunset with 19s (black centres with polished lips)
