  1. You must be finding it hard to focus on anything other than bringing that beauty home
  2. Almost zero motorway miles. An even mix of roads with a 30, 40 and 50 limit. Just over 20mpg if very careful like when fuel was scarce a while back Normally about 18 to 19 when Tesco momentum is on free flow.
  3. Picturing your daily commute made me laugh
  4. +1 on 1xtra Ever since I left London I missed Choice FM. With DAB in the car now I listen to a lot more radio......mainly 1Xtra or Choice. I do get the odd drop outs at home and in the car with DAB but I find it much better than FM for sound. Cost of home and car units seem to be getting cheaper and cheaper too.
  5. Was the main car for 3yrs but with the arrival of kids it's now just for commuting and my weekend "toy" is now a boring 4x4 family transporter Luckily I leave for work after 9am and come back after 6.30pm so miss the worst traffic and still enjoy the drive
  6. Don't forget to post pics when you get a chance
  7. Over the past 25 years I have amassed about 1000 CDs, but find over the past few years have hardly touched them with it being more convenient using my iPod/mp3 players as a source. Nowadays I mainly listen through headphones on a portable or in the car. I blame the arrival of sprogs 4yrs ago for me not "LISTENING" to music at home anymore and ditching the Bose mulichanger for not using CDs in the car. So for those of you who still sit down at home to really enjoy your tunes as opposed to in the kitchen while cooking etc in the background, do you still dust off your CDs or even your vinyl for the added aural pleasure? Or do you even use CDs in your zed's HU over the convenience of mp3 for the improved quality?
  8. Congratulations He'll only get cuter and cuter and soon you'll find your favourite "nibbles" are his fingers, toes and ears My youngest is 1 next week and I'm hooked on his ears......gotta have a nibble every time I pick him up
  9. Malay/Indonesian restaurant about 20 min walk from station just off the high street. TIGER AND THE KANCIL Very busy so sometimes you have to book in advance. They do set menus for 2 onwards with lots of small dishes so you get a taste of everything kinda like tapas.
  10. On Friday my mate hit one but luckily for him it was on the lower edge of the bumper, went under his car, then he felt a pop as his rear wheel went over the bird. Ewwww Left behind some nice roadkill pancake on the road
  11. 3.30pm parked at the far end of the car park.
  12. Amazing result for a metal polish isn't it..........and you can use the rest for exhaust tailpipes I did one side last summer with this stuff. Still haven't got round to doing the other side
  13. Welcome to the club. 7 yrs on and I'm still loving my Zed. May the cramps in your cheek muscles continue
  14. I went to Trilogy in Stalybridge for installation of a DAB system on the recommendation of Matt G on the forum who had a massive install for his zed done there. The guy knows how to remove/refit the zed's interior and looked like he could have done the job with his eyes closed http://www.trilogyincar.com/ Click for details
  15. Went to Tescos at lunchtime with my 3 yr old. At the entrance was a bloke picking his missus up in his Ferrari convertible who was giving it some revs. The roar of the engine attracted lots of attention from onlookers especially my daughter who pointed shouting "LOOK DADDY.......HIS CAR IS JUST LIKE YOURS" I've only a standard zorst on my zed but she reckons it roars "like a lion" Now the people down my local Tescos think I own a Ferrari
  16. Congratulations on your new zed. I will look out for your Azure while out in my sunset coupe in and around Manchester
  17. Lights look fine to me in the pics. How's about a night pic with the LEDs on.
  18. +1 on the pics. Never tire of seeing zed pics........
  19. Drove alongside my sunset briefly. Glaring sun made it hard to see ahead let alone wave ......so here's a belated one
  20. Really really happy for you all. Getting through hard times like this just makes us realise how precious our loved ones are.
  21. Spotted you twice these past weeks whilst in my sunset near the roundabout at the bottom of Kingsway. Never got the chance to wave.
