  1. You mean the engines Beavis? Estelle works for an international aerospace company that makes alot of bulkheads, interior structures ands seats for Airbus. Working in NDT,i work with people that have worked in Aerospace etc,and will never forget being told that low cost airlines like Ryan Air,Easy Jet etc,are cheap for a reason..... Im not saying they are unsafe, only that the inspection procedure maybe isnt as intense as a company like BA etc.
  2. No. Sky sports F1 channel launches on the 9th March, but thats not to say it wont get a mention on the sports news channels or its website. The new Mclaren http://www.planetf1.com/photo-gallery/7 ... ren-MP4-27 Now there is a surprise! You havnt seen ours yet! Yep really hoping the Mclaren boys give you a good spanking this year! Who would have thought a fizzy drinks company could beat the might of the Woking clan 3 years on the trot. Be interesting to see what people come up with design wise, and see what ideas other teams copy.

  4. One thing that will amaze you,is the sheer rumbling of the ground as they go past. It never ceases to amaze me,i love it. One thing you see at Singapore that you miss at most races,is the flames out the exhausts. Hopefully this year with them so high on the body work, they will be more noticeable. I know what you mean though,i would love to hear the scream of the old v12 and V10 F1 cars,so when we go turbo in 2 years,it will sound totally different, though im sure no less intoxicating. And im sure there will be lots of flames etc with them!
  5. Also flew economy on an A380,and was massively impressed with the service from Singapore Airlines. Also had 60kg of hand baggage,so managed to wangle a bulkhead seat.
  6. Its a great event, with great people. I went in 2009,and really enjoyed the spectacle. Though it is very hot there. Though to be honest,iv not been to a race yet that hasnt had a great atmosphere. Singapore is good though. Was lucky to stay in the Swiss Hotel Stanford, with a view and balcony overlooking half the track. The noise of the safety and medical was just insane, and at the time they were running the Aston Vantage cup thing, though they wernt a patch on the AMG's.
  7. In all fairness,i could only see that going one way. I couldnt ever see that sort of thing being made legal. Maybe if it had been kept under wraps,it would have lasted a few races, but it would have ended up people developing active suspension like what Williams did in the 90s.
  8. Thought id bring this abit up to date now that launches are taking place. Im waiting to see proper pics of the Caterham, not the dark, press release photos. The McLaren is certainly a strange one,be interesting to see how they approach the nose situation,or maybe they have. The max height for the chassis is higher than the permitted max height of the nosebox, thats why there is a step on the Caterham car. It appears that McLaren are either launching with last years nose box on the car,or are running a chassis thats alot lower than is permitted by the regs. Their exhaust area is also interesting,as the bulge where they are at the minute looks almost gobbed on,so will be keeping an eye on that come testing and the race. Not to mention them abandoning the the L shaped side pods from last year. Rumour has it they had to be that shape to take the octopus exhaust that they launched with, that they couldnt get to work. Im looking forward to seeing the Ferrari and Force India on Friday.....
  9. Must be an Essex thing,i have an Azure, from Essex, and its a coupe. FTW. lol Welcome to the new comer, where abouts in Essex are you from? Just seen your from Romford,i grew up in Grays. Oh no!! not another Azure blue Essex boy I'm gonna have to trade mine in ford a Ford at this rate to be more unique lol Welcome along btw, if you want a Zed buddy to drive along to a meet with ya let me know.... there dont seem to be many up Essex way (Insert joke about why the Essex boys are too busy for a Zed meet here haha) so might be a bit of a drive to the next 'local' meet I must confess i moved out of Essex in 2006,and currently live in Brackley, near Banbury (Just up the m40), though im moving back to Milton Keynes at the end of March. I dont get back home much (where all my family are) but when i do,i generally dont get much time to do much else other than see them. Hopefully we can both get along to the same meet at some point, and have a chat face to face. Iv only been to one meet so far. Thats nothing to do with not wanting to meet the members,(well maybe abit. )just mainly due to work and other commitments. The meet i did get to was great, and well worth the effort going to,the people i met were very friendly and helpful.

    295s on the back

No not lowered yet, maybe at some point, but only 10mm or so. Looks like il be sticking to 275s then, just hoped i could go to 295's to get away from the stretched look. Nevermind.

    295s on the back

Im in need of some replacement rear tyres, and never been keen on the stretched look of the rear 275's. Would i cause any issues to go to 295's on the back with a 22 offset? Or am i better off just sticking to the 275's as i know they fit without issues?
  12. I like the company trying to copy Williams F1's style of writing! Most Subaru's are just abit common for my liking, see far too many around, and they are just a tab chavvy for my liking, the 350 is abit more sophisticated, not to mention quite a rare sight.
  13. Maybe it's an age thing, but I'm subscribed to Car and Evo,and much prefer Evo. When I change address,il be cancelling my Car. Or maybe it's just me. Who know. If you want some of my Cars and Evo mags, then il do a deal with you. Like I said,I have a few years worth at my dads, and as many if not more here at the house.
  14. Chances are chap that it has never been replaced. I think Nissan say they are sealed for life, but it really does help to get it done. May aswell do the diff fluid while you are at it. See Zmanalex.
  15. LOL,il have to see what happens, and check they are still alright in their box,as i know it sometimes gets abit damp in the garage. Maybe i could sell the whole lot together for £50 or something.
  16. It seems a shame to throw them away,as there are alot of them, but then if they are just going to sit in a box in the garage, then is there alot of point in keeping them?
  17. As im going to be moving house in 2 months,no doubt this topic will come up with Estelle. I have a fair few Evo car mags going back nearly 10 years must be now. Alot of which are in a box in the garage, some of whiich are at my dad place in Essex. Are they worth anything,ie should i try to sell them,or should i throw them away,or should i just keep them. I dont have the 1st one unfortunately,as i know they are worth alot!

    Nismo + Carbon

Maybe worth asking if the moulds are made from high temp resin mate,as by the look of it,the carbon bit he was making are wet lay,so putting them moulds in a clave, even at low pressure and heat, will probably ruin them. Not saying that will happen, but worth checking with the seller.
  22. Is it individual to each set,as it looks like a large allen/hex key in the pictures. Sorry, just want to know whats what with the product before i buy thats all.
  23. Just to confirm, these are steel nuts, and they include locking nuts aswell?

    Varrstoens are on

Really winds me up seeing tyres on rims like that, its not cool. Dread to think what a car handles like when they are like that. Suppose they just cruise around.
