  1. Would love to say that me and Estelle can come to this,it was certainly on my mind to make a point of coming. But im not going to be able to im afraid. Im in Spain the weekend before, and go to Monaco the week after (both with work) and we have been told that we will need to come in the weekend of Wales,as it will be manic getting the cars ready for the race. Not to mention that we are moving house at the start of April, and need to spend as much time (and money) at home as possible sorting bits out, decorating etc. I went to my first Zed meet a few months back down at Ace Cafe, and must say that it was great couple of hours, and was good to meet people id never seen or spoke to,just communicated with on here. They are a great bunch of people, and if you have any doubts being a new comer and not feeling welcome, then you need not worry, everyone is very chatty and easy going. Im just gutted i wont be able to make it.

  5. That sounds like a mans dream! lol Been advised that when painting the floor,to paint up the walls about 1ft. That way you can wash the floor easily with the pressure washer etc,and not worry about striping the paint off the walls, and it seals the floor. A guy at work is happily giving me paint for the floor (he ordered too much) so will just paint the walls, and the floor when its empty, and hopefully be able to leave it a few days before moving stuff in.

  9. Yes,will look at sealing the doors of the garage, but they are only 8 Years old,so hopefully should be pretty good. Il be looking at the lighting source, and upgrading that probably. Good idea painting the walls too, should brighten the place up abit. Should i bother painting the floor,or just put some of that jigsaw matting down?

  13. Yes,going to need work benches and storage. Hopefully my mate will let me have some of his old kitchen soon,so that will be a good start. I think it has a few overhead lights in it at the moment, but could always use more. Something on the floor to make it non slip would be good.

  17. We are moving into our new house at the end of March, and having a double garage im pretty excited about doing detailing inside! Looking for some basics on equipment etc that would be a good base to start with for detailing and general garage use. Im guessing the floor should be the first thing to get sorted, but then what? All suggestions welcome.

  19. I always struggle with mine,no matter how loose or tight i put it back on,it takes hero quantities of strength to get the bugger off again after a while. Luckily,i dont need to fill my oil up,only at oil changes, which i dont tend to do.

Looks like a Ferrari California from the side....... The colour dont help.
  23. There is that Liam. Though its still a massive dilemma as to where to put the TV and sound system. As the corner is going to be abit tight with the speakers there,so looking at maybe moving it across slightly, but without seeing the house again, its difficult to tell.
  24. We made sure that the money was split between us,so on the off chance that one of us got mugged, the other still had half the cash. You should be fine on public transport.
  25. When i got my Zed,i paid a deposit to the guy on the day of the test drive, and then the following weekend i took a trip down there with over 10k in cash. Was a faff to get it out the bank,as they wanted a few days notice to sort the money out. My partner was abit worried,as you would be,but at the end of the day,its there in solid state, and can be counted and sorted there and then. Its up to you if you feel happy doing that. Id avoid bankers drafts etc,as heard a few stories about them, fraud etc.
