Had a thought earlier (dangerous for me) about stiffening the chassis on the datsun. I know a coupe of people have done this,and reported good results. Any idea where to start,or what the best kit is? Or would someone be willing to lend me the parts individually for a week or so?

I know the 3litre Z4 is as fast as 350z,so the Z4Mc should be significantly quicker than a 350z,as it has 80hp more than the 3 litre Z4. So it would be like comparing a supercharged Zed,to an un-supercharged Zed. If you can afford the running costs of the Z4,then id go for one of them. They are pretty darn tasty to look at,and go very well. Though the straight 6 engine has never done it for me,even in E46 CSL form.

I suppose you spend alot on fuel. Or booze. lol

I think camping would be fun,as it should be pretty warm that time of year,plus it would be cheaper. Il have a chat to the mrs,and see what she thinks about it. Itl be like Lemans on the cheap! lol

I dont really understand having a sealed box to stop heat soak,then putting a few louvers on the top of it. It dont make sense to me.

I generally get all my work done at MR Tuning,based just outside Towcester, Great guy,he used to work at RB with me. PM me if you want his number. Also had some work done at Horsham Developments,its only 40 minutes from Brackley. They are great guys too.

I bought my car with a JWT pop charger installed,and loved the sound. Someone on here was selling their Typhoon system,so i got it 2nd hand,though you wouldnt really know. It started to eat through my wiring loom,and on the way to Le Man,it earthed out on the metal box,and caused me to have no dash or MFD,aswell as no air con. Wasnt ideal. Its sorted now though,as ground a good 5mm ish out the corner that was tight,and put abit of trim on the raw metal edge to protect the loom. I like the added engine bay bling of the Typhoon,just beware of the fitment issues. I dont think id buy a brand new Typhoon over a JWT,but if you see one for a good price,then its worth it.

Well this is her car,not the Datsun,luckily. Wev had a brief chat about it this morning,and iv expressed my view,and wev left it at that! Lol It's just very painful,as I put a fair bit of effort into making her car look good,and she just makes my life alot harder! Spose that's women in general. Lol It didn't help that we had both had a couple of drinks,and we're tired.

Iv always said the her about car washes being the worst thing on the planet for cars,and iv always washed her car very well and properly. She has had it for 3 years now,and got it brand new. Iv not discussed the matter this morning yet,but just tempted to say to her that if that's what she wants to do then fine,but I'm not touching it again,ever. I don't want to waste my time on it if she's going to put it through an automated one. I even said to her that a gang of Europeans would have been better!

Just to let everyone know,RedBull are running both RB7s in Milton Keynes on Saturday 10th of December. Should be a good afternoon. Both Mark and Seb will be driving.

Been on late shift this week,so not seen Estelle at all. Finished early and came home,picking a curry up on the way. Pretty much finished eating,and i mentioned that my passenger side interior light is very intermittent since she spent 20 minutes turning it on and off. She said dont be silly etc etc,and then she said,"talking of cars,you will never guess what i did today" I listed,baging a kerb,door etc etc,and she said,"what do you hate most?" She then said that she took the car through an automated car wash! I calmly asked if she was joking,and that was the end of our nice evening together!

I think Lotus will move forward next year. They are having our KERS system and gearbox from the RB7,so if they can design a half decent chassis and aero pack,i think they will be troubling the likes of Force India.

Glad im not the only one with this issue. Thought the badges were put on with chewing gum to be honest. My 350Z badges are all moveable,and its frustrating. Think il debadge and just get some satin burger badges or something.

In my home town of Grays,they put a load of rocks on a round about,as they thought it would make people think of Stonehenge! That cost about £100k.

You can definitely see styling for the 8C in it,despite being mid engined,and the 8C being front. Very pretty car though. Hmmm,8C in Red FTW

The guy has come and told me its down at the back of the house now,and iv checked it all,and all is well. I had no idea that something like that would block the signal.

The scaffolding should be down this morning,fingers crossed. Its all Ally stuff,no planks of wood or anything. Its only so they can install new guttering,which they have pretty much finished now. It is in the line of sight for the dish. I just didnt think it would make a difference,obviously i was wrong!

Just had a chat with one of the guys doing all the work,and he has pointed out that the scaffolding at the back of the house (that is inline with the sky dish) may well be blocking the signal. Does this seem feasible?

We have had work men down the side of our house,as the next door neighbor is having new guttering fitted,so they have to use our drive to get to that side of their house and put up scaffolding. My mrs said last night that the TV was broke. Just checked,and it says that there is no/bad signal. Iv never had any issues with this set up since iv had it,and the sky dish has never moved. I installed a new LNB and cable at the start of the year,but its been faultless since. The cable that runs on the driveway side of the house all seems intact,and iv checked the connections both ends,and they are fine. The dish itself is rigid,and i cant seem to move it with brute force. So has anyone got any ideas as to what the problem may be? Iv done a master reset on the freesat box,but thats got as far as searching for the satellite and thats it.

Was at my Polish mates house,and he was watching this live on his Polish channel. Couldnt believe it,amazing skill by the pilot to get it down square,and not nose dive it or rip the tail off it. Bet it was scary for the passengers on board,but could have been alot worse!
