  3. Yes, i was told Pol Roger was very nice, and yes around £120 would be around max budget.
  4. I was Costco the other day,and saw they do a good selection. But was curious to see what else was out there beyond the named brands that everyone knows.
  5. Can't say I've tried that before ... If I were you then I wouldn't be spending £100 on one bottle - go get three different ones around the £30 mark and find out what your palate prefers If your partner likes bone dry go try a standard Veuve Cliquot or Lanson - for a bit more body try a standard Bollinger or Perrier Jouet Somehow I just knew that you would know about expensive wines and champers.... The trouble is, my partner is not drinking at the moment, so any sort of sampling would not be possible.
  6. Is the Lanson Black label any good? Im sort of getting the impression that everyone likes different things and that i should get something that suits our tastes, rather than price or recommendations.
  7. Well il see if i can get a taste of some, but doubt that its possible given the price. Interesting that there is not much difference between a £50 bottle and a £250 bottle
  8. If its any sort of reference,we both loved Martini Asti Procesco, but my partner prefers dry white wine
  9. lol,im born and bred Essex boy,so im alright thanks! lol
  10. Iv tried the Verve Clicquot stuff before, and to be honest was not a fan. Iv never tried DP before, but was told the Krug was very good, so going on recommendation by a guy that i trust.
  11. Cristal Meth ...................... Nice one!
  12. Currently trying to get my mums Sky Go account details so i can watch it on my laptop at the proper time!
  13. We have Procesco, and both enjoy it, but this going to be for a special occasion
  14. Was hoping not to spend more than £100 really, and the 2 Majestic have online are both well beyond that. I think there is one in MK,il have a search and see if they have a greater selection in their shop
  15. Sorry, should have been more specific, was hoping to find a shop i could physically walk into and buy a bottle, rather than online,as dont really trust an online company with a half decent bottle of bubbly. Or am i being precious?
  16. Iv been well informed that this is a very good champagne, but im struggling to find a shop that sells single bottles of it. Been told Bollinger is good, but this stuff is better, and costs around the same. Has anyone come across any available to buy in shops at all? Hoping to get Blanc de blanc, but we shall see what happens
  17. I have no idea. You would think that as you can buy/make any sticker you want these days, that it wouldnt make a blind bit of difference, but it does. The guy who does all the stickers was walking around the factory the other day looking to castrate the owners of 2 helmets that had RB stickers on them and were in the changing room.
  18. Debadge!! (Or get some redbull ones from work!) Believe it not, they are very strict when it comes getting RB stickers from work. I know the head of marketing has gone mad on more than one occasion when he has seen some RB stickers in peoples car windows etc.
  19. Hi Sarah,do you have any front bumper burger badges and rear boot badges at all?
  20. Always been a fan of these, and that engine. Nice to see a good balanced review of the car. Didnt know that there were engine problems with them, guess its just keeping on top of maintenance etc of the engine, and not thrashing it from cold etc. Great colour too. A good friend of mine has an E92 M3,and its an amazing car, though running costs are high, and dread to think how much something would cost if it went wrong!
  21. Id say its a little higher than normal yes,but cant suggest the cause or if any issues will result im afraid.
  22. I think im prett lucky with where i work, and the cars people drive. In a line at work today was an S2 Elise,06 plate Zed,and E46 CSL,and a a G60 Corrado. They belong to people that have gone away to this week. I love working in a place where most folks are proper petrol heads. Sorry if im coming across as arrogant, but it still amazes me things like this.
  23. I think it depends on a number of factors, like how often you drive the Zed,and what other cars you have access to and things like that. I drive 30miles each way to work,so for me to jump into anything else slower, is a real hardship for me. Though if you drove the Zed at weekends only, and drove something else during the week,it maybe different
