  1. Is definitely just the pic, paint match is excellent Car looks great, especially from what the caravan did. I was going to ask about the paint match of the skirts,as that looks darker than the rest of the car,but like you said, probably just the light and the camera angle.
  2. and get some gearbox oil with some moly slip, and also may aswell change the diff oil while you are there,as that has probably never been changed.

Awesome picture that. I dont have one,and was just going to paint the metal bit black to hide it abit better. Where did you get your stick on plate from? I got one from Craigs plates, and it was a pain to stick on,as a result, its lifting already in the middle.
  4. I saw a couple of reviews that said that the bulbs they supply dont last that long,so got 2 more at the time and installed them from the off. Changing these bulbs is a pain. Currently going well, got the passenger side to do correction wise, then going to go over it with a waffle pad and some SRP,maybe some wax if i get a chance, but got to do the inside too,so dont want to run out of time,as it has to be done today.
  5. Looks good Simon, and yes Dave your one was the first.
  6. Just bought this bad boy http://www.toolstation.com/shop/Lightin ... 480/p57748 Currently the Datsun resides in the garage as it was only yesterday that i managed to get the wheels back on her to wheel her back in. The MSV drift day (2 weeks ago this Friday) caked her thoroughly in dirt,so used this opportunity to give her a good clean. These lights seem pretty good, with enough power to show defects and swirls. Got tomorrow off work,so looking forward to getting stuck in with the DA.
  7. What a laugh! how many hours must they have been practicing!
  8. Thats the TC off button thats missing. Petrol cap release is further down.
  9. Different wording for drop links,or they something different altogether?
  10. Hi and welcome. I am from that area, but dont live there any more. Grew up in Grays, mum lives in Leigh, sister in Basildon and dad in Grays, near Blackshots.
  11. Was Oulton Park near Chester. Was a great day out. I adopted the releasing wheel method,as found it much easier, and you could let the car do some of the work, so it felt more natural. Neither of us went out with an instructor, though i did consider it. Was not sure about the clutch method, maybe il try that next time. Was a great way to discover the limits of the car though, and you know what understeer and the transition to oversteer feels like at a safe speed.
  12. Nismo V2 replica with canard from EPracing. Buster on here has the EPracing v2 front and has had no issues with fitting it.
  13. Okey dokey, and can i just get an exhaust hanger from ebay or something?
  14. Noticed the other day that my earthing strap from the exhaust has become broken,as well as needing a new exhaust hanger,as that has broken in half. Where can I get these from?
  15. Is the front bumper a proper Nismo, and has it been trial fitted?
  16. Thats some good work there, fair play. Love these cars, especially as most people dont know what they are. Looks very much like a large version of the Gallant VR4. (Another under rated car)
  17. Front bumper does look pretty shocking in the middle of the bonnet. Would really bug me.
  18. My first track day was with MSV on one of their novice only days, and spent the morning driving around with the TC on,so i knew id be safe ish. Did 2 laps after lunch and turned it off. Bedford is a great track as people have said, wide track with lots of run off. On site fuel as well, which yes is expensive, but factor in going to the local to get some and its no different. Very friendly and proffesional bunch MSV. Next time i go,i may pay to have half hour with an instructor,as my mate did,and said he was so much better and faster after. So well worth it. Just makesure brakes are good, fluids etc are as they should be before you go. Met a lad at one day that showed up in his 350,did a couple of laps and realised his brake pads were non existant,so that was a waste of time.
  19. What a fantastic race! Its a shame that Vettel and Hamilton didnt get to finish. Mesmerising race by everyone, great to see a good race at Valencia finally.
  20. I had a very minor brush with a tyre on the back end just by the exhaust, but thats it. There were tyres around yes,and some people did hit them, but they tended to be people doing silly drifts,in cars that they didnt care about. Was a great day,if you can do it, i would.
  21. I promise my car will never be this dirty again, until the next time!
  22. Well me and Doug (also a forum member) traveled to Oulton Park Friday (stayed up there Thursday night) and had a day on their tarmac rally stage. What an event. Could not believe how much fun we had. Was really good to know the limits of the car,and know what those limits feel like at relatively low speed. Then controlling the car within them limits. If you have the chance to go,then do it,you will not regret it. I was very nervous at first ( im very precious over my Datsun) but after half hour I was alot happier and started to play alot more. Me and Doug drove each others cars (mine with new 19' tyres, his with very worn 18") and the difference was very marked. You could feel the car just approaching understeer, then with a precise boot of throttle ,you could get the car swinging round nicely. The ever changing track was tricky at times,as we had random heavy and light rain, but the whole day was very enjoyable, and w both came away with new skills and experience. Just waiting for Alex to get his finger out with my ARB's now! Pictures will follow dont worry
  23. Okey dokey,il not worry then. Any idea where i can get a rubber exhaust hanger from? One of mine is missing about half of it. Lol
  24. My intial post said Camber, then i changed it to caster. Now thinking i was right the first time! Lol Cant get the pic up at the moment, but have the print out here at work. Right, the Toeing was out at the front and rear, and although the front camber is withing the spec from Nissan, its still not as good as it can be. The technician said that the tollerance on the camber is pretty large.
