  1. Indeed, some pretty damning conclusions out there, but today is about the people that were caught up in it and lost their lives or loved ones. I was just about to leave work when the 2nd plane hit,and remember walking past Tesco on my way home seeing all the TV's just inside the door (now at the back of the store) and seeing all the TV's with news channels on showing it all. Got home and watched it for hours.
  2. what year and miles is yours? Mine packed in at 70k/km 3rd was crunching (is) fourth felt really hard to get in, crunch in 1st and 2nd but that went away replacing (hopefully happening as I type this..) with a CD009 donor box that has better design and should last a good bit longer. What oil are you / have you been using? When I stuck Nissan oem oil in and a shot of.. mmm can't remember what it's called it behaved better, think I knackered mine with shortshifter / redline oil combo! Might be better trying to get a CD009 depending on refurbing costs. If the CD009 box is the one from the HR,then i was pretty reliably informed that these do not fit on the De engine, and the Bell housing is a different shape,so maybe worth checking if you havnt already that it will fit. To the OP,trying genuine Nissan gearbox oil with Moly slip and see how you get on with that,as you may save yourself a fortune.
  3. Cant believe it really,i remember what i was doing and where i was on this very day.
  4. Cool and ignore the shipping to UK only info, for people I know, if you want anything I can ship to Canada (or deliver it myself and not come back ) Daryl, the unity remote is a great little device for the money, quite flexible too as you can program your own custom IR devices. I currently have a Logitech 1000 or something, and my mrs finds it abit of a pain, and not actually programmed it for the sky box so havnt used it in 6 months. Is this a better piece of kit?
  5. I already have quite alot of uprated parts already and she's pretty stiff. If i it these I may end up having to soften my suspension setup to compensate. If I have to do that then there's no point in fitting them. Obviously in the dry it's fine but wet handling is very important and right now she's pretty perfect. Well its not a massive job to fit/unfit them,so you could leave them on a week, and have a play with them, and see what you think. But understand if you just wanted to sell them,as they would be worth more unused than used.
  6. Great site, really like the Gear4 Unity remote. Looking at creating a home cinema system in about a year, will see what you can offer nearer the time. Good luck with the new venture
  7. Instructions state that having the front on the softest setting reduces understeer, and having the back on the hardest setting increases oversteer. Not sure now that would work on your car,but surely the fundamentals are the same. Makes the car corner alot flatter than standard.
  8. Hello and welcome from a fellow MK'er.
  9. Nice C63,sorry to hear you having issues with it. Were the pictures of it taken at Sainbury's car park at the Hub?
  10. These a great upgrade, well worth it. Fitted mine a month ago,and love the flat cornering.
  11. Still have this for sale.
  12. These are still for sale.
  13. Managed to pressure test the plenum last night, and all seems fine, nothing else done yet,as wanted to make sure it was air tight before doing anymore work.
  14. Ah yes, i know where that is,just by jnc13. Well if you get stuck week after next, then give me a shout and il pop round.
  15. Stirling has always struck me as a really decent chap, and most of the 'classic' racers seem to be the same,Jackie Stewart is also very nice and approachable, he came around the factory last year to see how much its changed since he owned the place. Fair play going to have a chat to him,and sounds like a very nice evening.
  16. Where in MK are you Tez? On late shift this week and next, but if it drags on to the week after ( I hope not) then im on an early shift so can come round and help out if you want.
  17. Id guess its maybe this one. http://www.clubmsv.co.uk/car-home/event ... ype=taster
  18. That takes some doing, jeez, that must have hurt!
  19. Picture 3 reminds me of the Maserati Grand Sport. Just looks gash as far as im concerned. Reading the small print, all the lights you have to buy separately,so even more expense. Burn with fire!
  20. Just to clarify, neither of these were me,just nice to know fellow MK'ers are on here. We have 3 other Zeds at work, atleast 1 of them is on here, Shaun H
