If its been in a sealed bag then itl be fine,I wouldnt worry. Im sure some products are sat on shelves in warehouses for a long time before we even get them,so how do you factor in that 2 year shelf live? I could be wrong,but thats my opinion.

Cheers. My Mrs says that im getting worse with the whole OCD thing. I finally locked the garage at 9.15 last night. This morning,i woke up at 6 with my mrs going to work,cleaned all the windows inside,and cleaned the floor mats before she took it to work at 7.20. Great fun,but when it looks as good as it does,then I dont mind,I also find it therapeutic.

The past 6 months or so have seen the partners Swift Sport get used and abused,as there is no point or way im doing tip runs in the Datsun. As I had this week off,I said id give the little work horse some love. It was really minging inside and out,and hadnt even been cleaned for a few week,and i cant remember the last time i spent any longer than a couple of hours on it. So this was a wheels off detail,that turned into an interior out and nearly 30 hour job! Will try to get the pics in some sort of order. To start with,this little madam seems to have found a new spot for sleeping. Which is here! The car No pictures of the seats before they were cleaned im afraid,but they were filthy and had some juice stains on them from a leaky bottle,and after finding chips and crisps under the seats,decided it was best just to pull them all out. My driveway,looks like a bomb went off. Seats cleaned All back in and looking pretty darn good,that was day one. Though I was slightly delayed my a friend that rocked up in his Elise. Day 2 was pretty unproductive, due to rain and me chatting,but got he car washed and Iron X'd,along with the wheels,which had never been off to clean,so the backs were caked. I think I got a coat of wax on them before i called it a day too. Day 3 was a tough one,as wanted to get another coat of wax on the wheels,and need to clay and polish the car. Id let the mrs drive the 350 for the past 2 days,but Friday (today) i needed my car to head to Essex. Wheels waxed again,and tyres dressed with Finish Kare (brilliant dressing that lasts for ages on the tyres and you dont need to use much at all) Arches were dressed (which made more difference than id expected) and wheels were put back on so the car could be put in the garage for polishing. As i was up against it,i thought id use 3M Perfect It followed by some SRP before a coat of Hard Candy wax. As it turned out,I missed the SRP due to time (I finished the first polish at 6pm) The aim wasnt to fully correct the paint, as there were only a few light swirls apart from a couple of really deep scratches,and I was up against the clock. Just wanted to restore the finish abit and make the car really shine. Never used Hard Candy before,but found it an absolute pleasure to use. I have the Blue Velvet for the 350,and this was just as good. After finding out how easy if buffed off, I ended up waxing the entire car before buffing,to makesure the wax had enough time to cure off. Some of these pictures are before and some are after wax,but iv lost track now. Though the ones that still show day light are pre wax,the dark outside ones were post wax. Pictures from this morning,though not a sunny as id hoped.

Ah right,so they are the manufacturer of the brakes,like Brembo on the 350.

Can confirm that the ARB's really change the experience of driving the Zed,a well worth while mod that is also able to be fitted by yourself.

Nice selection of cars! I really love the 500 Essesse, trying to convince my wife to be to get one. Glad your becoming a Zed owner again though,seems like the old gal has something that other sports cars dont.

What is with the 'chrome' M3 esque mirrors and that rear wing? And the Ferrari badge on the numberplate. For the sake of £20 you would just buy some new plates if your previous car was a Ferrari.

Surely the flexi bits are there for a reason. If you remove these,does it not put more pressure on the rest of the system,as there will be movement when the engine accelerates and decelerates ,and having no flexi will put pressure on the manifolds. Or am i just chatting sh!t?

They removed the old weights with a pallet knife by the look of it,certainly nothing as careful as what you use! They left the glue on the wheels from the weights

The ones I have are the Depo ones,and are completely clear,suppose you may call them crystal like,and look great. Will get pictures up soon.

I thought id have a stab at changing my rear indicator clusters yesterday,which was not alot of fun,but well worth it. The problem I had was that my car has aftermarket parking sensors,so i couldnt fully remove the rear bumper. I ended up taking out all the fixings for it,and having it pretty much resting on a few areas so I could get to the screws for the clusters. Imagine my mood when I discovered that the bulbs were the wrong ones. I ended up replacing both clusters,but used the original bulbs,as i figured that i can change them when they arrive,and i didnt want to be removing the rear bumper again. Amazed at the difference its made to the back of the car though,much better,will look brilliant when the new bulbs rock up. Sorry,no pics yet,but will post up when the new bulbs are fitted.

This place sounds fantastic,where are you? lol I took my wheels and tyres to a place a few months ago to have them fitted,and they marked the inside of the outer rim trying to get the tyres on. Pulled the wheels off a few weeks later to find that they had obviously used a pallet knife to get the old weights off,and slipped and put a massive scratch on the inside of the wheel,and every wheel has marks where they removed the old weights. They didnt bother removing the old weight backing either.

Thanks mate, and yes they were..the only modification needed was a custom bracket adapter so the Akebono's can mount on the 350z, plus a removal of the dust shields (who needs em amirite?) The akebonos are an AWESOME alternative to buying an expensive brake like brembos or ap racing. Big rotors that fill in the space behind the wheels really makes the car look more aggressive, something about large brakes just strikes people a certain way I guess. WTF is Akebono? Brakes do look good. Im the same, i love brakes that fill the wheels nicely. Nice car by the way,though not a fan of the diffuser.

My original clutch is on 64k,iv not had any slipping yet,but pedal is very heavy.

Its a great looking car,he also has reclining buckets with harness's. Id point him in this direction,but he is always very busy with work. Hopefully il get it detailed soon,so will get some pics. We are also doing a track day at the end of October.

Sorry for this odd topic,especially as I dont own a 370,but have any owners had issues with their clutch or slave cylinders needing replacement? A friend of mine has a 370 (full Nismo kit,very nice) and on a recent trip to Germany (car is on 18k) had a clutch type failure. After getting it back to England,turns out the slave cylinder was dead,and he has ended up with a new clutch and slace cylinder being replaced under warranty by Nissan here in the UK. Just wondered if any owners had had this issue at all,or if it was a one off. Car has never had burn outs or such like.

Must admit,its seems to have been happening with me driving the car less. Il take it out later and give it some hardcore retardation.

Had a look at his site this morning,will take the car out abit later,and bed the brakes back in,and see if that cures the issue. Failing that,il look at getting them skimmed. Though dont want to spent money where its not needed,not with the impending clutch change.

Iv started to notice that my car shakes/judders while braking. Im going to take the wheels off and have a good poke around, but it feels suspiciously like the discs are warped. Other than taking the discs off and checking them on a surface table,is there any other way of checking the discs? They are DBA discs, though cant remember what ones. (slotted)

I do find the ride slightly more fidgety,but cornering is alot tighter now,and certainly rolls less.

Just standard springs and dampers with standard geometry setting.
