The van could have just been one to check on the tax,insurance and MOT's, so its possible that it was not checking your speed.

What an exciting race, the safety car certainly spiced things up, but jesus that Merc is fast, its going to be very difficult to get near them this season. Its impressive to see some decent racing and close combat, despite the results not going our way yet. Hopefully Renault can continue to improve the power unit, though the split turbo idea is very trick and cant be copied this year.

Intake tube round the wrong way? What paint did you use on your plenum? Looks lice? Did you buy your intake pipes like that also, so did you paint them too?

Octet I've decided you are nothing but a troll that puts a Smiley face next to your posts. You have not offered anything constructive in any of your posts in my threads. If it bothers you that I write lengthy posts and film things.. there is an easy way around that.. Don't look at it. I haven't said much so far, but this is like the 4th+ time you've commented with the exact same point. 10/4 What we could do, is do a build thread that is over 50pages long, with only maybe 2 pages that are actually related to the build of the car,the rest being just spam

Yeah i think come winter mine will get tucked up and get some mods done,though i can only dream about a super charger at the moment.

Just get the MOT station to do the emissions straight away if you have HFC's fitted, as they need to be super hot to get through. Ran mine for nearly 40 minutes just to make sure everything was as it should be.

I have Invidia HFC's and a Scorpion exhaust, and love the noise. Had my MOT yesterday, which it passed with the HFC's fitted. Though you need to run the car 'properly' before the emissions are done, as at the first attempt it didnt pass. Though also had the EML light on despite just having o2 spacers fitted which probably didnt help. They need to be properly hot to be MOT passable.

Well after failing the first attempt, car passed its MOT yesterday. Emissions were the main issue first time round, but the operator was confident if the cats ( Invidia HFC's) were super hot it would pass. Managed to get them properly hot and rolled the car straight in and the machine said it was fine. Handbrake had a proper attempt to adjust, and was fine, and id stupidly missed a side light bulb on my pre flight checks before its first attempt.

Had a new screen fitted by Autoglass a couple of years back, and they said to me that they dont replace the top bit, and its my job... I maybe contacting them to see where I stand

Blimey, im impressed the bumper is ABS, thought it would be fibreglass. That must have cost a pretty penny! Fair play to you, looks like you are going to be one very happy person once it is all finished
