  1. Did a track day a couple of years back with an E92 M3, and the brakes were pinging etc after a few hot laps, and needed cooling. The Zed's brakes were fine for how ever many I wanted to do.
  2. Eh thats great Alex, do you have any for sale.......?lol
  3. What settings have you got them on? I found the hardest settings front and rear were too firm for road use, so now use middle rear, and softest front. All on hard for the odd track day, which seems ideal.
  4. So is Spacsavers like Specsavers, just for special people?
  5. Lol,nice one Will. Yet to be seen at the factory! Im having a good guess who will be performing at our works do's now
  6. To be told that she should join the forum, and to challenge her to get a welcome post above the number of pages that the previous young lady got when she joined.
  7. She obviously needs to be found and told! If i see her in the Zed il do my best.
  8. Atleast you have options, and good to know Tarmac is supporting you with getting it all sorted, not that I ever doubted he wouldnt. Personally, id go for the wide arches, as they would go really well with the BGW. Im guessing different calipers (ie 6pots) are out of the question?
  9. Blimey, that is a pretty impressive list. Though disappointing to see that the care is a little fragile, and cant believe it does not have split fold rear seats, thats outrageous! As an overall package, i think its a hard car to beat, is there enough space for family stuff in the back, or would you recommend the touring? As for the brakes, could you not upgrade to the BMW 6pots?
  10. I remember them being a tight squeeze when I test fitted the bushes into the brackets, but had faith that with some pressure and lube, all would fit and they did. Glad you got it all sorted, are you impressed with them?
  11. That does look tasty, real race car spec!
  12. Is the spoiler blended in with the bootlid, or is that just how it sits, and im guessing this needs new holes drilling in the bootlid to get it to fit on a different one.
  13. Sorry to see this mate. One method maybe is to get 6 pot brakes, or something with a slimer profile to the standard Brembo's, or machine the Brembo's back to clear the wheels (if its only a slight mismatch) Im guessing you needed the 25mm spacers to clear the brakes, so a smaller spacer wouldnt work. You could also go Veilside wide arch......
  14. Sure its a simple fix. I fitted mine myself with no issues. I seem to remember them being a tight fit, as they hve to be, but you slap a load of lube over them anyway, so it all squeezes together nicely and does not squeak
  15. Really like these, a couple of guys at work have them, one of them chipped and lowered on BBS wheels. Is your one an auto (dont think iv seen many manuals for sale) Also, have you got the M3 brakes on yours, look bigger than I remember on the standard car.
  16. Looked into them as a replacement for the Mrs. Very good capable cars, but needs the LSD, and still torque steers with that. Ther are boring looking, especially the mk1 ones, but i quite like that. Based on the Focus platform, so pretty good dynamically, and not much goes wrong with them i believe.
  17. Welcome to the site, glad your having fun driving the Zed. Though your M3 looks tasty, are they some big brakes i can see. Really like the CSL bumper skirts too.
  18. Would be nice if it had a non turbo version of the GTR 3.8, that would be a nice link, though if they are calling it the 370Z Nismo, thats unlikely. Needs the S1 Nismo rear wing, but like the rest of it.
  19. Bilberry all day! Used it for several years now, and its a great product. I use Iron X every now and then, but wouldnt use it every time I clean the car, as its expensive. Buy a 5L bottle of Bilberry and be doen with it.
  20. Fair play for attempting this on your own, and when its all sorted the sense of achievement will be immense. As previously said, doing something like this the first time is a pain, but after a good nights sleep, and a fresh pair of eyes, you will be surprised how quick and easy it is to do the same job again. Good luck to you, and keep your chin up.
  21. To be honest, your better off going to a local fibreglass workshop and bunging them £30 for some materials, as you will get alot more and probably better quality than the stuff you buy online.
  22. Il drop you a PM later when i get home about 10ish. Got alot of wet laminate experience, so hopefully should be able to help.
  23. What company do you work for?
  24. Looks impressive! Like your rear lip, any idea what it is?
