  1. If these were not a square set up,i would have already sold my sole and bought these. Good luck with the sale
  2. Essex boi residing in Milton Keynes. Moved up this way in 06. Never went to Clacton, grey up just outside Grays, near Lakeside
  3. Sounds to me like a seized piaton in the caliper or something like that, though a little wierd its on both sidea. The inside should wear fairly evenly to the outside.
  4. Please excuse the filthy car
  5. To be honest, unless the dog was laying down most of the time, you may struggle with that. Plus with no proper divide between the cockpit and the boot, its probably very dangerous to have them there. Sorry hadnt thought of that in my original post. As for miles, you can get around 400 out of a tank if its constant motorway, and id say probably 300 with mixed driving, and as little as 200 if your flat chat round a track, maybe less. I averaged 11mpg on one of my first track days. You will find most cars have the GT pack, so that comes with leather and Bose sounds system. Though the latter sounds more appealing than the actual reality of having it. So dont be surprised to find alot of people change it, or hack it to add an ipod cable.
  6. Welcome, grew up in Essex, just outside Grays. A tank of V power (always run the car on high octane) will set you back around £120 if the tank is empty. Road tax depends on what year/model 350 you go for. As for the boot, it depends on the size of dog.
  7. Ah sorry, assumed you were you in the US of A as you quoted $ prices. Not sure about the HR engines, but most people with the DE engine go for the Berks, as they are proven and reasonably priced. Iv went for Invidia's because the quality was much higher than the Berks.
  8. Check the for sale section, there is a plenus spacer just come up
  9. Yes that is almost full size, mine is not, is probably half size.
  10. No idea chap, worries me that they are significantly cheaper than the Berks, which are pretty cheap usually anyway. I dont know where the others are made, but maybe the Kinetix gear is cheaper in the US (which is where im guessing you are) because of no import tax or something like that.
  11. Cheers CS, i may see if i can get one that fits properly at some point, when the bank account recovers from this weekend
  12. Would anyone else be up for this, same sort of time of year next year?
  13. Whats fueling your decision to go for Kinetix HFC over the Berks or Invidia's? Iv seen Berks, and I have Invidia's on mine, and the Invidia's are much higher quality, though you need to supply your own bolts, and reuse/replace the gaskets yourself. Cant speak for the Kentix stuff though
  14. I have a 'vanity' plate on the front of mine. I tried full size stick on plates, and because of the double curvature, they dont work, so if you want a stick on one, then you will have to go a little smaller than standard atleast. Iv had my plate on for over a year now, and never had an issue apart from people at work spent the first 6 weeks coming to tell me that my plate was illegal. Just remember you will need a 'proper' plate for your MOT.
  15. Got a set of rays sat in my garage mate, but the tyres are shot. Would be ok if you just wanted the car to sit on something while your wheels are away. Where are you getting them done, as need mine doing, and dont really trust Pristine
  16. Thats great news chap, makesure they havnt caused any 'other damage' that may need attention while it is in the body shop.
  17. Came down the V10 just before Tilbrook and work, and a nice red Zed came round the roundabout, had a wave also.
  18. Iv fired off an enquiry to see what the criteria is, and if we can have a stand for next year. Will see how it goes
  19. Could argue that the Zed is 51 years old next year, so has heritage. I could make a few enquires and see what the criteria is.
  20. Fair play to you, especially investing in more tools etc. I felt really chuffed when I did my ARB's, its a great feeling working on your own car and fixing/replacing something
  21. The silver Z with Chargespeed spec bumper, black roof and boot, but the top of the spoiler silver, think that looks great!
  22. This is a great price. Friend of mine paid £20k for his a couple of months ago from a dealer, his has sat nav, but does not look as good as this one!
  23. Lucky you! lol Didnt know if anyone already had tickets that they wanted to sell at a slightly reduced rate, as there are 3 of us going for 2 days, but in reality, il probably leave at lunch time on Saturday, as got a 40th birthday party to go to
