    Boxes

To be honest, with the cost of what iv bought, i do not intend on selling any of the bits any time soon. Il talk to the wife later and see what he 2p's worth is, but i think il end up just getting rid of them all. Atleast that will free up space for Zed parts etc. Iv also kept the box for my Eibach ARB's, but il throw that out at the same time, as its worth naff all.

Im a hoarder, my wife if a thrower outer, and im trying to be ruthless with as much as I can, as so want to have a neat tidy garage. Already have an old kitchen that im going to put up and use in there, along with floor matting that is just waiting for me.

Well i had my stuff for 18months now, and have no intention of getting rid of it within the next 5 years atleast, want to get my fill out of it all, and as the boxes are huge, il probably bin them. Clearing out the garage to make way for the Zed in the next couple of months, so can use all the space I can get.
  6. Vauxhall Europa Blue, love that it changes between purple and blue.
  7. After buying a new TV, an amp, some floor standing speakers and some smallers ones for the rear, i have an array of boxes in my garage, taking up alot of loft space. Question is, are these actually worth keeping? If I ever do sell any of the AV stuff (which I dont intend too for a long long time) are the products worth any more with their boxes? Just interested in what people's views are on buying stuff like speakers etc, with/out boxes
  8. Cheers Alex,am i right in thing the standard gasket is the metal one? Where can i find a Aramid one?
  9. I meant i bought the drivers side cluster switch, with auto close on both sides
  10. Just wondering if its possible to get a rubber gasket for the upper plenum to lower plenum. Basically, i have a Kinetix V plenum which i got 2nd hand, and iv spent some time modifying it. However, as it was 2nd hand, it did not have the cork gasket that should come with it. I saw a post on a US site which says the guy ditched the cork gasket and got a rubber one. However, I cant seem to find a rubber one anywhere. I dont want to fit the plenum with just some gasket gunk, as I wouldnt trust that seal. However, if thats the way it has to be, then so be it. If all else fails, i may make my own from a sheet of rubber at work.
  11. Great little cars, my mum bought one a few months months back, and loves it. She previously had a Mini Cooper, and a mk1 SLK. Hope you are enjoying it
  12. Ah, you have acknowledged it now, so ignoring it is going to be harder. Iv had a couple of parking tickets, one of which was actually un just, i just ignored the initial letter, and ignored the follow up letters, as well as any threats. After a couple of months, they give up. Im presuming because they cant be sure you live where the car is registered, so would not waste a bayliff's time sending someone round to a property that may or may not exist, and where you may not live anyway. Anything from the police or council must be paid, anything else, just ignore everything, they will get bored.
  13. I bought an an import electric window switch for auto open and close, and that does not work, though I have not done the window reset procedure on it, i have reset the car by keaving the battery off over night, and that did not do it. However, I remember someone bought the passenger side switch with auto open and close, and that worked fine

I have a 380 pedal, so maybe a standard pedal does not have this.

Well, managed to source where it came from. It sits behind the throttle pedal, and holds it against the bent metal that the pedal mounts to. Glad i worked that out, was starting to get worried.
  16. Got in my car the other day, and found this on the floor by the loud pedal. No part number on it, and iv driven 500miles without it.
  17. I live in Milton Keynes, so 15 minutes from Towcester, 5minutes from the M1
  18. Would you say this set up is better or worse on track compared to DS2500 on DBA slotted rotor's?
  19. Fair enough, thats a good idea, and if its warm, then that helps. Our dinner last night consisted of a juicy steak from a butchers, some hasslebank or something potato's from Waitrose (not great, as were with some garlic butter) and some broccoli. All washed down with a bottle of wine between us, and 2 Margaritas, so not mega healthy, but we resisted the ben and Jerry's for the night
  20. Where are you Kayla? So far, no joy,i sent an email off at the start of the week, and iv not heard back yet, but im off for 2 weeks after today, so what il do is drop another contact a message today, and see what happens.
  21. Fair play WMR, that sounds like a good idea. Is that your evening meal, or lunch? Also, salads are fine during the summer, but what do you do for winter?
  22. We are having a chicken stir fry for dinner tonight, and i went without my 2nd can of RB and my chocolate raisins. Stopped off at a butchers earlier and picked up 2 nice steaks for dinner tomorrow night, though this will be a treat as the steak alone was £14! You guys have inspired me to work on my fitness as well as my diet. However, i failed massively in Tesco, as they currently have Ben and Jerry's on BOGOF!
  23. There was one guy who build a mini computer to sit in his cubby for all the OBD stuff, cant remember who it was though
  24. Would scrambled egg on brown toast be a good start to the day?
  25. We both also eat very quickly. Lol On a side note, You Tube, How Animals Eat Their Food,it will make you laugh. Im going to try to hit the gym 3x a week for the next 2 weeks while we are on shut down, as well as lay off the RB and chocolate raisins.
