I work for Red Bull F1,and have to say i was most disappointed about Vettel,again,its so frustrating to be that close to victory again,and be halted with a mechanical failure. As for Webber,i think him and Lewis had a great battle,i think the accident with Lewis summed up his weekend really. If you are going to take some one out do it properly!!!

A guy at work has just bought a 3.0r Subaru Legacy Outback,and is looking into getting it converted to LPG,so it got me thinking if the 350 is compatible. I drive 30 miles each way to work,mainly dual carriageway and A road. (A5 and A43),so 60 miles a day. I could cope with teh petrol,i know its going to be about a tank a week. But i drive past a shell garage that goes Autogas every day,so got me thinking if anyone has got their Z converted to LPG.

Well im waiting to get my Astra Coupe back from the body shop,and the insurance company to decide who was at fault with an accident. When thats all sorted (within the next week or so hopefully) il be putting it up for sale. Iv already seen a Zed that im interested in,so we shall see what happens.

I could always take the Mrs Swift Sport to work,and she could get a taxi! lol Friends of our are moving in round the corner,so i maybe able to leave the car there if i cant get up to my place. Result. Do people have a set of winter tyres and summer tyres,or just keep the same ones on the car? Also,has anyone ever had an LPG conversion on their 350,is it possible?

Thats a bugger! Though i was working most of sunday,so wouldnt have been able to come anyway im affraid.

Cheers for the welcomes,nice to feel part of the gang. Im a composite NDT inspector at Red Bull. We use ultra sonics to test for delamination in composite structures,such as suspension and the chassis. We also check bonds in the alot of parts,again,like the chassis and suspension,front and rear wings etc. Its pretty cool,i got to go to Singapore GP last year,and i went to our first test in Jerez this year,and im off to Brazil for the penultimate round. So looking forward to that. We do indeed get free Red Bull,most departments have a Red Bull fridge that they keep it in,and there are pallets of the stuff in stores. My house is well stocked,but dont drink it that much to be honest,worst case,a can a day.

Hi folks I joined last year hoping to get a Zed in Azure blue,but buying a house was more of a priority at the time. However,iv recently had a pay rise from work,and have decided to sell my Astra Coupe and get a Zed,my girlfriend/co-habbitant is even lending me the money to get one! Thought id say hi again really,and get to know the forum and people abit better. Im living in Brackley and work for the Red Bull F1 team,and im 26. I also live up the top of 2 pretty steep slopes that my astra couldnt get up in the snow,so im looking forward to that in the 350! lol

Not yet,but hope to within 6 months. I know that i want the azure blue,with Rays,and if poss sat nav and nismo kit or rear wing. Im fed up with Vauxhalls now,and want some RWD action. (dont want a Monaro)

My Astra Coupe is only a 1.8.

Can i ask how you know its an import from them pictures? Sorry,im just curious,as when im in the market for a Z id like to know if someone is passing an import off as a UK car

Dan from SRB lives over the road from my dad,really nice guy. Had a great s14a,but it got written off from what i remember. I dont live at home anymore,so didnt know he had a S2000

Im also an avid EVO subscriber,and have been reading their long term review on the Z they had. So after buying the car, i hope to get a DC exhaust or similar,but will depend on money. Although im only 25,im trying to be sensible, do some research,so i know about running costs etc,and things that can go wrong (Not alot from what iv heard). Just so i know exactly what im getting myself into.

I spend so much time on Piston Heads its unreal!! lol Thats the sort of thing id be after. Should be able to afford up to 15k too,which with the release of the 370 at that sort of time,should bag me a nice example. This will be my first RWD car,and most powerful,so will probably be doing some driver experience courses to learn how to drive it properly.

Cheers guys. Hope to be buying a house with the girlfriend early next year,March ish,then when i know how much money its costing me,i can get a Z. Im after a Azure blue one,with GT pack,and if possible with the Nismo rear wing,but not essential. Cant believe how affordable these are to buy now,its certainly alot of car for your money.

Iv been in love with them ever since i washed one that a friend of mine owns,and he took me for a spin. Iv currently got a Vauxhall Astra Coupe,(please be gentle) but want something that is RWD,pretty powerful,looks good,is reliable,and most importantly is not a BMW!
