Well for my birthday a few weeks back,the mrs decided to surprise me by saying she is going to pay for us to go on holiday to Cuba for 10 days! Because of work,we missed the flights,and now going to Thailand in 5 weeks for 10 days! I cant wait,really excited. Going to miss the Zed though,and il be glad to get back to makesure its all safe and sound,and go for a drive. So im off to Brazil with work at the start of November,come back for a week,then off to Thailand. Not a bad couple of weeks. Has anyone been to Sau Paulo,iv heard its abit rough,but wondered if there were any bars etc that I should try to go to while im out there?

Well its off a 54 plate,and the car had only covered 28k when i got it,and it had the Japspeed k1 on it. I asked the previous owner to leave the Y pipe on,buy put the rest back to standard.

I have a standard Y pipe that is sat in my garage. Iv been assured that its in great condition,but will check before selling it. May even get it dye pen'd at work if i get a chance. Just wondered what sort of price these go for before i decide to sell it.

Sorry,but not a fan of the V3 front bumper. It reminds me of a GT race car. When i worked at Prodrive,we made the splitters (and body work) for the GT1 Astons,and this reminds me of them. If you go for the whole race car look,then you could pull it off,but as a visual thing on a road car,it dont do it for me. Needs to protrude 100mm less than it does. Have you not thought about getting a V2 and finding a unique splitter to go on it?

If anyone has one laying around,please let me know,as could get a mould made at work,and get a couple knocked out over the winter pre car build.

Its from the air con mate,dont worry. I had this when my car went in for a service,was really worried seeing water drip from the same area,but it perfectly normal. I went to the BTCC,and when in the Honda garage i pointed out to my mate that the Cayenne doctors car had a huge puddle under it,he said its from the air con. Im guessing its the moister from the system draining out.

Is it possible that the cabin filter needs replacing? I had this on my Astra,and it was down to the particulate (cabin) filter being full of crap,and holding moister.

That looks awesome,love the wheels and the front carbon bit. Any idea where i can get one of those from? Or who would lend me one so i can take a mould from it?

I like the Bell+Ross also,think it looks great,nice clean simple design. The U-Boat watch (cant remember its exact name) is also very nice.

I have a blue Sea Master (as i wanted to be different) and love it to bits. Its a great watch,never let me down,and although i wear it every day,the bracelet is scratched to hell,but the glass is totally un scratched,despite my best efforts,and i work with sharp tough metals,carbon fibre etc,day in day out. Cant beat an Omega,much better than a Tag.

Well as my weekends are mega busy,i think that will have to wait till next year. Glad i managed to make it look so good,but it needs a proper machine machine polish. Has anyone else got water etching on the boot,from water running out of the rear wiper grommet? Its really frustrating,as it looks pretty good apart from that. The Carbon wrap on the front bumper needs sorting,as the outboard most areas have not stuck,and have wrinkled up.

Yeah it is well worth it. I may do the silencer box at some point,as it would be nice to get that all shiney,but as its a pretty large job,it can wait.

Well as yesterday was fantastic,and i had the day off work,i thought it time to give the Zed some loving,as its only ever had 2 quick washes since i got her at the beginning of August. I didnt know if was Silverstone GP track,or in the village,so didnt want to drive around aimlessly on the off chance id see people.

The Script are all over the UK,up north etc,so should be able to find somewhere near you. The girlfriends sister is wanting to go too,so all good. Il be staying at home that night. lol

Tickets are not cheap,£75 each. Thinking of buying Script tickets as a christmas present for my mrs instead. They are playing at the O2 in March.

As already said,i do feel abit silly,and i do think that i could have atleast worded the thread better to sound less like an idiot. Im fully aware of the young lad who died recently while driving,and I certainly dont wish to follow in his foot steps. Iv already stated that it was abit silly,and already stated that I bailed out when things started to get out of hand. Im not an idiot,and while i understand that racing on any roads is not condoned on the forum,or on the roads,who can honestly say that they have NEVER had abit of a race with another car on the road,regardless of what car its in or with? I totally agree that posting it up on the forum was silly,as i know all sorts of authorities monitor these sites,and i have learnt my lesson from this. I dont want to alienate myself from the site,iv seen it happen way too often,as i think that the people here are a real nice helpful bunch,and id like to come to meets etc,and feel welcomed.

Yes in the cold light of day,so to speak,it may have been abit boy racerish and stupid,and i understand that it may have been removed. Is it not possible however to just just drop someone a quick PM and say that its not really the done thing etc etc? Not wanting to cause a big issue out of it,just thinking about letting people know when they go against the forum.

Well i certainly couldnt find it. It would have been nice to have got a warning PM or something that it had been deleted. Like i said,i didnt want to get myself or anyone in trouble.
