  1. Anyone else going to the Silverstone Classic this year? A mate of mine is having his stag weekend there, so looking at getting tickets, though at £80 for 2 days, its expensive, anyone got tickets that they are selling at all?
  2. Well done Ricciardo! What an exciting race from front to back. Hopefully Masa and Perez are alright

    W Brace

As they are a brace,i reckon you would probably notice if you took it off and pushed the car quite hard. It does not have to be rust free, as il get it powder coated, just mine is quite damaged, and needs to be replaced really, as it catches on certain lumps in the road.
  4. Welcome, dont live far,Milton Keynes. Sister in law lives in Haddenham, and mother in law Thame, so will keep my eyes open we travelling around

    W Brace

After a fairly good condition W brace for the underside of my Zed, and was wondering if anyone had one, or was breaking a car with one.

  8. Thats a fiar point Stevo, and i do love my MPSS's. lol
  9. Yes, but that is £450, though it is a lovely bit of kit. Just wondered if this did the same job, for less
  10. Not sure if this is a harness bar or not, or if its just a strengthening bar. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Ultra-Racing-Interior-Brace-Nissan-350Z-3-5-2003-ROC4-1260-/271339737181?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item3f2d1bd05d
  11. Saw a grey 350z and a white 370 Nismo behind a string of Porsche's just outside Hackleton on Sunday. Was passenger in my mates Golf when we saw a string of nice cars amoung the Porsches
  12. Are these removable on all models? Thought they were part of the bumper
  13. Can i have 2nd dibs on the spoiler please?
  14. I had a set fitted a few years back. There was a thread a while back saying that the LW pulley's dont have the damper in the crank pulley, so a lot of people were put off them. Iv never had any problems with my engine, and have a LW flywheel too now, car is so much more responsive, and revs alot easier. The crank pulley was abit of a pig to replace apparently, but that was the hardest one. Put it this way, my mechanic refused to fit HEL braided lines as he thought they were unsafe, yet had no issues or anything with fitting the pulley's.
  15. Just remember, they are a abit of a pig to change, and a faff, so if you buy a cheap set and they fail in a year, then you have to replace them, pay garage costs, etc, is it really worth the hassle, when you can buy a proven set for a little more and fit and forget.
  16. I went for the Invidia HFC's from Tarmac, and was impressed with the quality of them over the £40 cheaper Berks (though the Invidia stuff does not come with gaskets or bolts) The Invidia's are alot better quality than the Berks too. You have to get the cats really hot to pass the emissions, id recommend a good 20 rag, then leave the car idling while you go get the MOT person, and do the emissions first while they are hot. Thats what i did, and they passed fine. Berks, and id imagine all HFC's are the same
  17. I am a composite man, and my wife works for an aerospace company.
  18. Thanks for this, will try it when i do a track day. You never answered my question about who you work for......
  19. Id say Kaiser Motors or Abbey would be your best bet, both highly rated and traders on here
  20. Surely if more people were interested in it, they would have bid on ebay and driven the price up more. I have no idea how much extra the guy made over what he paid, but at the end of the day, things are only worth what people are willing to spend, and if he got a good deal out of it,then fair play, cant judge the guy for that. Aslong as the seller is happy with the price they paid, thats the most important thing.
  21. Why don't we have some rules where only people interested to buy can comment on the for sale threads? What's the reason to comment like that if you're not actually looking to buy, don't you have anything better to do? Go on YouPorn for instance... It might help you calm down a bit... Guess he's lucky this isn't a for sale thread then I guess that there should also be a rule about offering support to people following a successful sale too, stops people claiming something works perfectly when it's been bodged... Sales of goods act or something like that... As for the actual kit, its worth what is it worth. Regardless of how much he originally paid for it, i think most people would sell something for what is it worth, rather than what you paid for it, especially as he has sourced and provided a few extra bits so it is ready to go. Dont really see what the issue is to be honest. If a buyer is willing to pay X for something, who gives a monkeys about the rest of the alphabet.
  22. Good effort, love the MX5 too, looks mental
