  1. No barriers for the crossing? Cant see any smoke anywhere. Though they could be trying to flush a cat from a tree or something
  2. Ah wow! Ramps for trains! i love it when my train jumps up in the air, derails and kills a load of people!
  3. Hate the interiors of the 996 Generation of Porsche, Boxster included. On a 30K Nissan, fair enough, but a 50-60K Porsche it is unacceptable.
  4. Saw a black 370Z parked up near the bus and train station, facing the main road. However, car had a few spaces either side, and a load of blokes from the council trimming the trees just infront of it, looked mighty close to me. Last bit of the plate was HHD or HDD.
  5. Hey Faye, welcome to the forum. The car looks clean and tidy, and mega decked, fair play. Couldnt get away with that where I live

We touched on this when with the Rolls Royce programme thread. (Yes it turned to charity) To reiterate my thoughts again, i donate to Air Ambulance, and Cancer Research, as well as the occasional good cause that maybe a friend does to raise money. I refuse to donate to firms like Oxfam, but them in particular. They have a nice swanky office tower next to the law firm owned by Tim Henmans dad, my mother in law works there, just outside central Oxford. You will find alot of large charities make stupid amounts of money. I stick to the ones that mean something to me, and I feel is a worth while cause, I also help my sister out with things if needed, as she is always on the borderline. I dont donate 10% of my salary to charity, but I feel I do enough.
  7. Cheers for the advice Keyser. Im off to Whitstable in a month for an inlaw gathering, so thinking that maybe I can get all the work done at Kaiser, as they are not far from there, and I wont need the car, as my wife will be going down a few days before, so she will have her car there.
  8. Iv got the Eibach ARB's fitted, have done for over a year now, and looking seriously at getting the MeisterR Zeta S coilovers to compliment them. The car is over 10 years old now, and pretty sure the springs and dampers have seen better days, not to mention trying to be a compromise between comfort and sport. With the coilovers, atleast I can adjust them to be specific to how I want the car. When I do the odd track day, I can lower it a little more, and stiffen the dampers up a little to help. For road use, i can back them off and enjoy the comfort
  9. I got 4 MPSS's in 19's fitted for £900 from my local HiQ, which I thought was a good price, especially when you factor in getting the tyres delivered, then getting them to the tyre place etc etc. If you can stretch to them, then I would say you would not be disappointed, I coudnt believe how much more grip and feel they offered over the Falken 452's that I had on there previously.
  10. Cheers Keyser, thats what was done at Horsham, they pressed a bush out, and replaced it with a poly one of some sorts, but it does sound like I need new arms, which I sort of figuered anyway. Once the garden is sorted, (and paid for), I think il sort out the coilovers and lower arms, and if iv got enough botle, have a stab at fitting all of them on my drive. Whats the worst that can happen! lol Or maybe il book some time in with the Zed Shed and pick up a boot full of dohnuts on the way down there. Is there somewhere that can do the alignment fairly local to you?
  11. Sorry, i know im asking silly questions, but as these were replaced a few years back, does that mean that they potentially would not need replacing, or the bolts would be a little easier to undo?
  12. Cheers for the response Alex. Just done a Google and is the compression rod the piece tats fixes to the Bannana arm? I had these replaced a few years back with Poly bushes from Horsham Developements. Wondering if its just worth replacing the bush in the arm, rather than the whole arm. Would be mega peaved if replaced the bush, only to find that the other bit is the problem.
  13. Just wondered if it was possible to fit the lower control arms and coilovers on the drive way? Iv seen one or two people have done the coilovers, but havnt seen anyone attempt the control arms before, though maybe im wrong.
  14. Ah ok, blimey, you learn something new every day.
  15. And dont go to a garage to adjust your ARB's, i can do mine with the car on flat stuff, but I run 19's and standard height suspension. Once you have done it once or twice, its alot easier. Shouldnt take you more than 40 minutes first time round. Doing stuff like that yourself is good practice, and saves you some money. What made you go for the Whiteline ARB's over the Eibach ones? Im sure they are all much of a much ness, but just curious.
  16. Personally id knock a few PSI out the tyres first and then have another drive on the roads. 35 sounds too high to be honest, try dropping to 32 and see how you get on. I know it sounds a small amount, but if your running on the centre section of the rear and front tyres, handling will be compromised.
  17. Did you ever get to the bottom of this? I would have thought things like that would be universal throughout the 350 range across the world.
  18. Due to the shaped end, i dont think you will get a full width one that is not made of carbon
  19. Trouble is, new ones are around the £200 mark, if not please drop me a PM.
  20. Yeah mine has a large piece bent down after it clipped a kerb and now grinds on anything low, which always turns heads for the wrong reason. If there were a bunch of used but refurbished ones going cheap id get one.
  21. Sorry mate, didnt even twig that you were there, depite seeing your car. I should have come say hello
  22. Well not an exciting race, but well done Mercedes, they really have done an amazing job, and Alonso has done it again, dragging the horse cart round better than it deserves.
