  1. If RBR lose Infiniti as rumours say for next year, that would make the car LOADS better IMO as the out of place purple would be gone. I actually like the Torro Rosso livery, bulls look angry. Im a fan of the Infinity Purple, reminds me of Cadbury's, also brightens things up, as I think the standard Red Bull colours are a little boring now
  2. Best livery on the F1 grid, stunning! Love the heritage of Martini in motorsport.
  3. The OBD thing i have stays on when you switch off the ignition
  4. I quite like this http://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/performance/gear-knobs/richbrook-ball-gear-knob May get one soon, as would look good in my Azure
  5. Sorry, off topic of the BGW, but what rear spats are on that car in the picture?
  6. Now and only now I will reply Well done Daryl, no doubt just a loose wire somewhere good luck sorting it Sent from the golf club... Thought you were abit slow on the uptake on this Dave. Well its raining quite hard outside, but iv got a boot to rebuild, and steering wheel controls to fix, so im off out in it! Off to Cantref at 9 tonight, and got to be at work at 2
  7. 6MPG around Bedford is impressive. I averaged 11, obviously wasnt trying hard enough!
  8. Got alot to do in the morning still, got to strip part of the dash out again, and see why the steering wheel controls are not working, and need to get the boot re-assembled too. The repair to the rear view camera isnt done, which is a bugger, as was hoping to fit that tomorrow, but if all else fails, if i cant fit it at work, then il do it next week, its not the end of the world. The music works, which is the main thing. The HU is slightly out of allignment, and as result, when it tilts, it catches in one corner, hopefully should be an easy fix. Got to pack tomorrow for a stag do in Cantref. Im leaving straight after work at 9 tomorrow, so hopefully should have a fairly easy run, though there appears to be no straight route there
  9. Well its all in,and working,in a fashion. Everything apart from the sterring wheel controls work. However, they were working before i had the massive ball ache of trying to get all the cables,HU and aircon box back in. Hopefully its just a case of a loose connection, rather than a severed wire ir anything. Rear camera should hopefully be in tomorrow, but atleast i can listen to my choons on the way to the Beacons tomorrow night.
  10. Was just a little time consuming to be honest,as had to strip the boot plastics out and then the passenger side lower dash area. Taped up all the cables too, so they are not going anywhere and not at a risk of being caught up when the plastics are put back. Hopefully by this time tomorrow, phase 1 will be complete. Phase 2 will be installing the bluetooth module and mic for it, but the important thing is the choons.
  11. Well there is light at the end if the tunnel. Didnt get the stereo fitted as such, but got the centre console out, and yesterday id fed the wired for the reversing camera through the car. Just before i ran out of time before work, i quickly hooked the HU up and was delighted to find it all worked a treat. Didnt try the iphone plugged in, but radio and CD's work fine. The I T loom arrived yesterday, and basically i cant see how i would have got it all wired up with out it, which is a result and a disappointment at the same time. As i was originally told everything was supplied, again by the original owner.
  12. Go for the skirts, but maybe get a calculator too......
  13. If you are interested, then drop me a PM, as much as im angry about the whole situation, i dont think its right for me to publically name and shame the culprit. Despite the extra cost and hassle it has caused me. He is a very popular chap on here, and i dont want to create more of a scene.
  14. New ICT loom arrived today, looks good, and shows what a gash job the original owner did to the loom. Now much happier and confident that when the weather improves,il be able to wire this up with few problems. I hope that the original owners 370Z isnt as bodged as this.
  15. The ARB's with give you the turn in confidence, and the CO's will give you the control over the lumps and bumps of Buckinghams finest. The 421 was always pretty bad, but id imagine its a pig after the weather we have had.
  16. Iv got MPSS on 19"s and Eibach ARB's, and find the handling transformed. The ARB's alone are a brilliant upgrade, and if you are suffering from roll, then id go for a set of these first, and see if they will do what you require before going the CO route. On the hardest setting, they are too hard for the road, so iv got softest on the front, and mid way on the rear. Even with this set up, the car is so much flatter through corners. Id still like a set of CO's as lets face it, our cars are not getting any younger, but the ARB's starved off the hunger, and at some point, when funds become available, il get a set of CO.
  17. Thought about that, but then finding said cable id imagine wouldnt be easy, and didnt know if having the camera on a permanent feed would be useful, but having slept on it probably more distracting. As iv already got the cables to the front now, il try hooking it up to the switchable live on the head unit, and go from there.
  18. Ah ok, will do thanks. Not going to do too much more until the new harness turns up, but getting everything in place. Hopefully get it all to work without too much more hassle and money.
  19. Personally, id have the skirts, but if you go for the steps, maybe keep them black, and get your rear spats done at the same time, so that it all blends with the front lip.
  20. Ah sorry, yes it came with a rear view camera, which is what i spent the morning doing, was pretty easy to feed the wires through to the front. Though im unsure what happens if i hook the live up to a permanent live, instead of the switchable one on the head unit. Will i have to manually activate the HU for it to switch to the camera, or will it still do this automatically?
  21. I have also ordered a new ICT lead to make my life easier, as hate having bodge jobs on my car. Another expense on top of the iphone cable.
