The ARB's with give you the turn in confidence, and the CO's will give you the control over the lumps and bumps of Buckinghams finest. The 421 was always pretty bad, but id imagine its a pig after the weather we have had.

Iv got MPSS on 19"s and Eibach ARB's, and find the handling transformed. The ARB's alone are a brilliant upgrade, and if you are suffering from roll, then id go for a set of these first, and see if they will do what you require before going the CO route. On the hardest setting, they are too hard for the road, so iv got softest on the front, and mid way on the rear. Even with this set up, the car is so much flatter through corners. Id still like a set of CO's as lets face it, our cars are not getting any younger, but the ARB's starved off the hunger, and at some point, when funds become available, il get a set of CO.

Thought about that, but then finding said cable id imagine wouldnt be easy, and didnt know if having the camera on a permanent feed would be useful, but having slept on it probably more distracting. As iv already got the cables to the front now, il try hooking it up to the switchable live on the head unit, and go from there.

Ah ok, will do thanks. Not going to do too much more until the new harness turns up, but getting everything in place. Hopefully get it all to work without too much more hassle and money.

Personally, id have the skirts, but if you go for the steps, maybe keep them black, and get your rear spats done at the same time, so that it all blends with the front lip.

Ah sorry, yes it came with a rear view camera, which is what i spent the morning doing, was pretty easy to feed the wires through to the front. Though im unsure what happens if i hook the live up to a permanent live, instead of the switchable one on the head unit. Will i have to manually activate the HU for it to switch to the camera, or will it still do this automatically?

I have also ordered a new ICT lead to make my life easier, as hate having bodge jobs on my car. Another expense on top of the iphone cable.

Well iv got all my boot trim out and feeding the cables through to the front. The guide by Aftershox is really helping. Am i right in thinking that if i wired the red power cable to a permenent live, then i would be able to watch the feed any time? I have the violet and white cable coming from the HU, which im guessing is where this red cable should go with, but will the feed still work if i dont connect the violet cable to the live of the camera?

Dip the corner of a MF cloth in the open end, and wipe on, after iv done all 4 tyres, go round with the still damp cloth and mop up any drips etc. Lasts on the car for ages, so great value too

More significantly, I dont think I would appeal to McLaren.

I think that it will be when we come to Europe before we get back on a level playing field. The Merc engined cars are doing really well, however, you dont know until the first race where people are with performance. Youve got to say the Merc and McLaren look good, however, if they are a second a lap down, its only a matter of time before the teams with poor reliability get their act together and start putting pressure on them. Cant help but feel that Merc and McLaren have gone conservative with there packaging, which is a good thing in some respects. However, the more tightly packaged cars,ours included, will get it together, and then we will see where we are. Newey may have shot himself in the foot a little now, but that will only make him more determined to get it right. Its a long season ahead.

LOL, thanks for everyones help. I think im going to start attacking this tomorrow before work, get the rear view camera in atleast, then over the weekend i can make a start of getting the HU in and working, hopefully. Glad this forum is so good.

Wow,cheers for the responses everyone, looks like we are getting there. Its a shame the original owner of this mess hasnt come forward to lend me a helping hand, as this is the state it came out of his car.
