  1. Iv acquired one of these, and was wondering what app i have to download for the iphone to get it to work. Also, from the research iv done on this site, it only works with older iphones, not the iphone5. My iphone 4 picks up the signa via bluetooth, but does not want to connect to it,iphone5 does not pick up the signal. Is this because i have the wrong app on my phone. (downloaded Rev Lite after a post on the site) Just wondering where im going wrong with this.
  2. I think you will be fine doing it on your drive way, i did my rear one first, and as I mentioned, had to go to a local place to have one of the nuts removed, and then the exhaust issue, so ran out of time to do the front one, which i did the next day. I think if you allow a day to do both, that should be fine. If you can, soak the rear nuts and bolts in GT85 or something similar, as they are the ones that will be rusty due to being exposed to the elements. If you chock the front wheels, and put the rear of the car on axle stands, you will be fine. Just remember to remove the back box, or drop it off the hangers, dont bother struggling to do it with it on.
  3. Got my door handles sprayed last year to match the wheels. Not a massive difference, subtle but i think they look cool, when the car is clean. However,iv been told by the body shop that they were not an easy job to disassemble and reassemble.
  4. Im sure Renault will be trying to get ontop of everything ASAP, especially with team principles boots up their ass.
  5. Did mine on the drive, and the only major issues were the bolt for the rear arb on the LH side, as you have to remove the headlight leveler first, cant remember which one, but one was a PITA, and a slightly different size, so keep an eye out for that. Getting the exhaust dropped/removed is a must on your drive, trust me,spent atleast an hour trying to get it off without removing the back box. Gave up in the end and dropped the brackets that hold the back box up and did it that way. Doing the front was easy, took me 3 hours, and that was with alot of faffing and poking around under the car. 2 hours tops i reckon for that. Its a rewarding job to do yourself, felt very proud after it was all done.
  6. Make or break year for Caterham, so hopefully they will be alot closer to the midfield. Cant help but feel the Caterham nose looks like one of them Viking boats that was used for ramming other ships and sinking them.
  7. The Caterham solution is actually quite cool. However, as Newey has already said, if the tip of the nose breaks off, the shape of the underside of the nose will cause the car to launch over another if it hit the side of it.
  8. All the cars will change for the last test and first race, when all the engineers have looked at other teams solutions and experimented with putting them on their car. You may find that some teams will end up with the same design of nose etc.
  9. Yay,finally get to see the picture of the finished car! Saw the guys working on it last night. Currently in my hotel room in Jerez, totally ruined. Got up at 3.45 yesterday morning, and was at the track till 11pm. My work partner is on day shift and was up at 6am to go in this morning after doing the same hours as me. Must say,the Merc is probably the most elegant out of the bunch so far. Really hate the donkey d1ck noses, hope they can change the regs for next year to get rid of them.
  10. That Merc teaser shot looks like they have wrapped their suspension in carbon effect vinyl..... As for our car, you will have to wait and see. Iv only seen parts of it, but not all of it together, that will be released in the next day or so
  11. McLaren and Williams have the donkey d!ck, Renault the double donkey d!ck, Ferrari have the catfish nose.

  13. Thats interesting, where did you find that?
  14. Ron got a load of really expensive olive tree's in the factory as he liked them, however they died for obvious reasons, so he got a load of fake olives made and painted and put on the trees
  15. LOL, suppose thats typical McLaren. Make someone go and change the bulbs when they win. Have you heard about the olive tree's inside the factory?
  16. According to the Mclaren site, even without a new title sponsor, they've got the biggest budget that they've had for a long while. They better have used it effectively is all I can say! They're just round the corner from where I live and their sign hasn't been red for a long while! Does it even still work? lol
  17. Thats very interesting! Wonder if he will go to McLaren, I think Brawn would be the main target, but if he has said no, the Eric will surely be the man for the job
  18. Maybe it was a Paul Walker tribute!
  19. +1 on the 425, brilliant stuff. Love using it. Iv also got DDJ, but prefer the 425 even though it does not have wax in it.
  20. Sent mine away before xmas and got them back sharpish. Great upgrade and well worth it, its amazing how much difference a small thing like this makes to you using the boot.
  21. On my first every track day at Bedford, I spent the morning with the TC on, as I wanted to learn the track and go at my own pace with a safety net. By lunch the TC was off, and I was pushing alot more. I went on my own to that one, and I think was better for it. If you go with others, you always try to race them and out do each other, no matter what car they are in.
