Amazing how the posts by myself and Martin have been responded to by the minority who for some strange reason have never placed their cars on our clubs stand. One would think I may have touched a nerve. Oh and for the record, if we are going to suggest bygones be bygones, perhaps you could question why I am still banned to this day from the "other" forum, for nothing more than asking why our club is censored.... My personal IP, work IP, email and domain name are all banned. Before even thinking of mud slinging on here with regard to bridge building, some may wish to question the hierachy elsewhere... Though be warned, I questioned it and have been banned for two years now It would seem that some dont like being put on the spot. Some are happy to be part of this community online, but wont be part of it in the real world at shows. Methinks it is not the team here who has the hypocritical attitude. PS... Would that be the same coercion as advising a Z owner that they can have their question answered, or even be given a spare wheel... as long as they pay up to become a member? Fine line between coercion and extortion in my book...

Having read through, I dont think that tidying this thread is an option, it would end up so disjointed it would barely make sense. I think the best way to deal is to lock it and confine it to history. Some people chose to buy high quality at a high price, some people choose to buy lower quality at a lower price. Then there are the anomolies of good quality at low price, and low quality at high prices. Its the finding and subsequent buying or avoiding of the last two that is the fine art. No need for arguments to start - lets chill and get back to less emotional banter.

Yep - try contacting the seller via ebay and asking if a refund can be arranged - you never know they may have sent the wrong item, or perhaps shipped one for a different model civic, or just have made a genuine mistake. If that fails then get a photo showing why the item is unusable (i.e. showing that it clearly wont fit), and raise a complaint via ebay.

Dont forget to check the security levels or perhaps if they cant be altered see if you can add security exceptions for cookies from this site. Do you have a short hourney from home to work? it could be that one session is not expiring before you start another on the other PC. Logging out of the forum before going to use it at anothr location should work too - but thats a bit of a sledgehammer and nut fix to be honest.

It could also be to do with the domain name change - the domain is now held under another registrar, but Im not certain that this would cause the issue. I have indeed flushed the cache recently when making changes to banner logos etc and of course updating the ban list. Do you use two different PC's to view the site? If so it may be highetened security levels on one which is not allowing the cookie to be updated which will control which posts apprear as unread. Ive checked your "time last visited" and there appears to be nothing funny going on there. Perhaps it may be worth logging off, clearing the 350z-uk.com cookies from your PC and then logging in again. Sort of a reeboot for your login status on the forum if you will. This may clear your unread posts, but could help the issue. It may be that during the time we were moving to the new software you picked up a cookie that was set to the temporary area we were building the site in. The above should ensure you have everything set ok. Ill try and look into it further and see if there is anything else that could be causing this for you.

When I take mine for its MOT the garage hasnt got the equipment to do the brake test without using a trusty old decelerometer. He has no choice bot to go out and rag it about a bit Gives him a bit of fun on the day, and I also take the company cars / van there and so do other friends and family. Yes there were bits of information and some contributions that were useful. My own personal view (not speaking for any of the team here) is that the running of this place is an awful lot smoother now than it was before. Apparently it was going to be "interesting times ahead" when he left. We now have over 40,000 visits per month, 6000 unique visitors, near as makes no difference 650,000 page views, and hits from 72 countries and every continent on the face of the planet. Individual "hits" as counted by other more common stats counters that dont distinguish individual pages instead of items runs in excess of 10 Million hits per month, on busy days (Monday) this peaks at around half a million in a single day. Im fairly confident weve done OK without his input so far. Of course it wouldnt have existed in the first place without him though.... honest. Though given as myself and Neo built it, and Martin (not martinmac) bought the first server, I struggle to grasp that concept.

The model year relates to the version of the car. Hence the zed has a MY03, MY06 and a MY07 distinguishing when the car was facelifted. E.g a 2005 zed would actually be a MY03 not MY05...............
