  1. I think it stems back to the time when diesel engines were noisy rattly boxes with very little power. Built for towing and not a lot else. Diesel has come on leaps and bounds in a relatively short time. The current Diesel car I have for work is a 2.0 TDI Altea that pushes 170 bhp and 258 lb ft torque. The next one is likely to be the Jaguar XF with the 3.0 Diesel S engine. That has 275bhp and a stonking 442 lb ft - while still managing a combined cycle of 42 mpg and a CO2 level of179gkm from an automatic box! It also has a 0-60 of 5.9 seconds. Im convinced its witchcraft.
  2. They may not stock it on the shelf, but they should be able to mix it for you. Code is B17 for the Azure I believe. Edit - Paint code is B17, as per the thread posted by Martin above.
  3. For an example of how it works, I didn't know that another question had been asked in this thread until Stew just quoted it
  4. Unfortunately not, but you can use the "view active topics" (top left) and then at the bottom of the list you can change thist show te active topics in a specific time frame (configurable)
  5. Ive got a 54 plate white transit van if that counts
  6. Just as a note, the View New Posts list should contain a list of all posts made since your last visit, the date/time of your last visit is displayed at the top left (Last Visit Was: *******). If this date/time is incorrect, and you have visited sonce then (not including the visit you are now making), then it would appear that a particlaur item has not been updated for your profile in the database (specifically the UserLastVisited table). To fix this, log off, and log back in again. This should update the table with the correct data and you should be able to use the "new posts" feature as you previously did. Hope this helps
  7. View New posts is all posts since your last logon. If you are permanently logged on, it will look at all new posts since your last logon event, which could be some time. View unread posts is a list of all topics which have had new posts made since you last read them, regardless of your logon/logoff times. If you want to clear the "new posts" list, then log off and log back on again.
  8. Which link are you clicking to view the list of posts/threads that has the 20 pages listed?
  9. We have been getting considerably busy as of late. In a little over a month, the number of posts has increased by over 22,000 You could try going to the forum index and clicking "Mark Forums Read", that will mark everything as read, andunread posts should start building up again from there. If this isnt the case then we have a problem. For refference - this is how the links at the top right work, so you can see the difference between "new posts", "unread posts" and "your posts". viewtopic.php?p=311986#p311986
  10. Sure - you get the discounted passenger ticket too
  11. Edited as I misread and now see that you have sold the phone, so software upgrade not possible.
  12. Unfortunately cant make this one guys as its my wedding anniversary and have made alternative arrangements. Looks like a good show though, and should be a good day for showing your cars off
  13. Agreed - they wouldnt want just anyone driving the FXX, and he is probably one of very few people allowed to drive the car round a track, espescially when it wil be specifically compared to ther marques. Still, made for good tv though. "Do you think it is boring when one person continually wins?"
  14. Ah yes - good point, as long as it is sunny, it looks flat in the shade 1. H5 2. Chris`I +1 3. Chesterfield +1 4. Cavey 5. Darren-B 6. maz77
  15. It is good to see a standard car on the stand, as it gives a perspective on how much work some of the highly modified ones have had done. It also shows how much a look can be changed with just a bodykit or a few additions, thats if anyone is daft enough not to like the look of the standard car in the first place!
  16. We can get name badgs sorted too, this would help

  19. As bernie holds the commercial rights to F1, would it be beyond consideraion tha he switches camps and just wanders over to the new series and offers to get the things up and running? Afterall, he is a business person, and I cant see him wanting to wave goodbye to the money that those teams bring in...
  20. Both. Weve had requests for a motorsport section, gaming section, and others. The more sections we have, the more unnecesarily complex the forum becomes. This makes it harder for people to decide which section post in, causes moderators more work in moving the posts to the right area, and when people onstantly keep seeing heir posts moved from one area to another, they give up and dont post at all, which is no good for anyone.
  21. Off topic is your friend We cant create a section for everything, as it dilutes the forums focus on the 350Z.
