  1. Its a japanese variant, came with the 19 inch rears and 18 inch fronts (the curvy Rays design), exclusive interior colour, its the interlagos fire one that Ricky drives. Other little items like the thin lip round the wheel arches too.
  2. Not really appropriate for this thread tbh, nobody needs reminding...
  3. Yes the officers that came had a great sense of humour. Just prior to departing I was talking with them about Rickys Type G and they commented that the colour was nice, unlike the "grey ones" jesting that they were common, before then asking me which was mine (and hoping it wasnt grey ), I said "Its the yellow one over there with the number plate you will probably do me for in a minute", that raised a chuckle. Needless to say its now back in the garage and wont be coming our again until Ive had a trip to halfords with the V5 for a set which has the right spacing!
  4. Ill check mine when I get home Martin, though I dont think they are any better than what has already been posted. Getting a decent angle was the tricky part! Anyone got a helicopter?
  5. Yes you did I decided against a drive over the tops from Manchester/Stockport to Chesterfield given the weather and the likelihood of being stuck behind a wagon for a good hour so went the longer but much easier motorway, A50, A38 route.
  6. While we are reviewing the above, can I ask why the hell you are making boxer shorts out of tea-towells?
  7. A big thanks to Dave and others for organising this weekend. Thanks to everyone who attended and made the event a success. It was great to meet so many new faces during the wekend. I hope those who attended for the first time enjoyed the event Thanks to the North Wales Traffic Officers for their attendance this morning, we had some positive comments passed on the driver document and I think the chaps enjoyed a good look round the different styles and variations of the 350 at the services. They also provided us with a heads up that as of 1st June, an illegaly spaced number plate is a 3 point and £60 offence, and not just the £30 ticket you get now. So no time like the present to get that sorted. Although the police were out in force on the route we took due to it being very popular with the bikers and drivers on the Sunday, the speeds were never above the limit in the section of the group I was in during the day, so Im hoping there should be no brown envelope surprises for anyone. The weather looked to be set in for the day soon after we set off, but then 2 miles from Bala and the sun comes out That made for some great photos at the lake as usual and a dry walk to the restaurant for lunch. The car park at the Sportsmans Arms was racked full of zeds a couple of hours later, and many thanks to the landlord for allowing us to take shelter from the elements for a brief break too. Very sorry to hear about the accident on the way home, but glad to hear Steve and his son are both OK. A car is just metal and plastic which can be replaced its the people inside and around that matter. I have a few photos for this meet and billing last weekend that I now need to sort through and get posted up in the gallery, so will do that just as soon as I find the time. Thanks again all involved
  8. Just making sure the legalities are pointed out so nobody can acuse us of not warning them
  9. Worth pointing out you will certainly need a TV license wherever you watch this though
  10. Thats excellent work. Looks very nice indeed.
  11. When the Rays were still optional, I paid £900 for a set with rubber. Given the other mods to my car, I doubt whether it had a set of GT4 rims or not would make any difference to the price. Though with an almost stock GT4, I think a set of original GT4's or Nismos would be prefferable, may not increase the price, but would probably speed up the sale if needed. Id guess at around £600-800 depending what rubber thay have on.
  12. Good luck with the search, Im sure you'll find something.
  13. Just change the image on your photobucket (keep same name) account and both posts will change
  14. This picture has been on the internet for some years now, and I every time I see it, it still baffles me as to how they got the truck above the fezza without marking the rear end or back quarter. You would have thought it would have demolished the rear quarter. Unless its the fezza that has driven at high speed under the truck and lifted it. Which seems impossible. Anyone else any ideas how this happened? EDIT - found the real explanation, apparently it was a kid driving the F150 and he managed to get it airborne while speeding and answering his phone, and the truck landed on the Ferrari
  15. Although those that have done it before could probably acomplish this within the hour that we are at bala for, dont forget we are there for a carvery. I doubt there will be time for both food and plenum fitting. Plus, you just know that a bolt will find itself lost in the engine bay when you are against the clock.
  16. Myself and Tracy would like to book a 3 bed lodge and will be happy to join you guys and make a week of it
  17. Id probably pitch mine a few grand lower than that, and its got about 14k less on the clock. Nice car, but a dreamers price sadly.
  18. I dont think exiting F1 would do Ferrari that much harm. They dont need F1 to sell their cars, they have earned the reputation and image that the badge cunjours up. But F1 without Ferrari would certainly be a blow to the Max and Bernie show. I think this will have to go Ferraris way for the sake of F1 itself.
  19. But we also want an F1 where we dont get the same 1 or 2 teams winning year after year. The only reason the field is as mixed as it is this year is due to the new rules and the interpretation of them from the various teams. Without a budget cap, next year will return to exactly the same mclaren/ferrari shootout again. But a sudden drop to £40M may be bit harsh considering they have run on more than ten times that last season.
  20. OUCH! Sorry to see this Martin, there were plenty of folk admiring those wheels just 48 hours ago! Im sure you will be back up and running again soon buddy
  21. Were using that to wash down the Jacobite
