  1. Bloody ell Craig! You have been busy. That is absolutely awsome. You have certainly taken your time with research and have pulled off one of the best looking highly modified Z's weve ever seen on the forum. Knowing your previous car, Im fairly certain that the pictures will not do the actual car justice, and it will be immaculate inside and out. Best of luck with the show, and I look forward to seeing it soon - a fantastic effert with great results!
  2. Was suffering the same issue using IE8, but I had the site added to the list of sites to test in "compatibility mode" whilst I was doing some other testing - I removed the site from this list, and it started working ok. Albeit a lot slower to display the picture than with firefox. Firefox just works. they make it that bit better with every revision, and you dont need to re-write entire websites to make it work with the latest version. As an example, you can now add special tags to web pages to instruct internet explorer 8 to act as if it were internet explorer 7. Just in case the websites dont display as they should. Why on earth would you need to have that written into your program if it just worked as it should in the first place
  3. Glad you got it sorted - it sounded exactly the same as the issue I had with mine. You hit a line in the road (such as the joins in the concrete section of a motorway), or those raised painted lines, and the car seemed to jump sideways about half a foot at the back. It was a faulty shock on one side of mine too, had them replaced and its just like night and day. The sticky Toyos should make a further difference too. But at least you arent worried you have a serious issue anymore and you can get on with enjoying the car
  4. Its worth checking to see if you have the latest version of flash installed too.

  7. Given some of the responses here, the team are looking into the points raisedand action taken appropriately.
  8. Or myself. drop me a PM and advise what the email should be and ill reactivate it for you
  9. Hi and welcome As above, if you cant find something just ask, we were all new to the car once, and we all probably asked the same questions once too
  10. Dont be a stranger buddy! It was good to meet at the Wales run
  11. Happy birthday to both. Just a note, if people put their date of birth into their profile, there is a message which comes up on the forum index showing who has a birthday that day
  12. The official reason in the ban list states "loser". Dont worry, Im sure with the school holidays we will have another forum pet along soon enough.
  13. I would agree that younger drivers and higher powered cars increase the risk of accidents and even death considerably. The "solution" as I see it would be to legislate against the combination of younger drivers and cars with a certain power to weight ratio. However, as is usually the case wth any legislation, the government and its advisory bodies will know less about the given subject than can be fitted on the back of a fag packet, so will no doubt eventually come up with legislation that not only targets the specific problem group, but also affects everyone else who is more likely to be responsible (at a price of course).
  14. Why dont you - you know you're itching to do it.
  15. Would your mechanic be sourcing the discs/pads for you? I have the EBC discs all round on mine, with redstuff pads, though I rekon Ill swap for the DS2500 pads after chewing through these, but that will probably take a while as the car doesnt get that much use. I actually noticed a vast improvement over my standard discs and pads, but two of my standard discs were very badly scored and the pads were getting low too, so may not have been a fair comparison.
  16. No need o go that far Nixy, a simple thank you is fine
  17. I dont have a BT home hub, and I think the setup is slightly different to a normal wireless hub. Sounds like your hub is not broadcasting its SSID. Can you connect to the hub via an ethernet cable. If so, log in and check the following: Go to Advanced, and go to 'Configuration' > 'Wireless' > 'Security', then make sure there is a tick in the "Broadcast Network Name: Try connecting via wireless again afterward and see if you can find it. If you can, then set this as the default wireless connection on your laptop, and then you can log back into the hub and remove the tick again (stops people seeing your network and "trying" to get on). Hope that helps.
  18. Was it the trip into the attic the other day that gave you the bug Tim? Its like alladins bloody cave. Having seen most of these items, I can vouch for them being top notch. The plenum is a beauty too. Next you'll tell us you have a Triumph motorbike in fluorescent nipple pink
  19. Sooo toying with the idea of one of everything
