Hi and welcome hope you enjoy the club, though if you are like everyone else you won't post much for the first few days, it's just that hard to prise yourself out of the drivers seat

Apologies for my strongly worded reply above everyone, please dont take this as being any form of team response, it is my personal feeling. Its been a stressful few weeks for various reasons. People may have noticed on other threads, that its fair to say I am quite passionate about this community; I dont like the years of effort I have put in as part of the team being effectively thrown back in my face. Ill try to bite my tongue rather than rant

You would be amazed at just how dificult it is to add a simple button like that next to those two. Ill have a look into this when I have a spare moment, as it could be quite useful.

Not a bad idea, ive often been annoyed at having to scroll back to the top to click the unread posts button. Just need to make sure it is not too cluttered at the bottom...

Possible suggestion for the forum....
Chesterfield replied to chrisjones6699's topic in Site Suggestions & Feedback
Hi, Ill have a look into this and see what the pro's / con's are of doing this. As Mike says, its not possible with the software in its present form, but there may be modifications that can be made to enable it. If its easy enough to allow this as an option then it is something that we can look to add. Regards, Chris. -
To say I am personaly disapointed would be an understatement. Im fairly sure that there will be counterparts in the other nissan forums that are also non too impressed with the move. If you take a look in the likes of banzai or evo magazine, we are listed as the 350z owners club and have been for some time. There is also the former Owners Club, Nissan Sportz, that has now moved on to cater for modern nissan sports cars in general and the Z club whom cater for all Z cars. How you thought this move wouldn't be stepping on anyones toes is beyond me. I can't officialy speak for others, but I'd be willing to wager that there are those in other clubs that are non too happy with the move either. Setting up the krispy kreme meet here, having a few sign up and then posting this as a meet on the new site with "people attending from other clubs" is a creative way of arranging a joint meet too.

"nutters" Mind you - fair point
-
Its not treading on anyones toes if you you do want to ask. We can only assume he was either unhappy here for some reason, or just wanted more involvement in running a club. Who knows.
-
Seems that way - posted on here to gauge interest as it was something that the R32 guys did, and as we have previously had one which Stan organised, it sounded like a plan to get another one sorted. Now this new "350z owners club" appears, and its their meet with a few of us from here attending.

How much are you looking at for this?
-
They are both "catch up" bills buddy. i.e. they have been estimating for some time and used an actual meter read to "cath up" with your actual usage. The problem is their systems just see this as a high usage quarter, this is then extrapolated to form a years worth of usage and then they decide you arent payying enough. The problem is finding someone with half a brain at the supplier to realise that it is a catch up that has caused this. Find out which email address or phone number you can call to provide meter readings, and then do this once a month, that way you dont get any catch up bils, and the estimates you get should be much more in line with usage. As for looking at the rates for your region etc, Ill get on that when in the office agin tomorrow buddy
-
Sent you a PM Paul. I work within the energy industry, albeit not in the domestic sector, but can help friends out with domestic calculations etc. As above the figures are either wild estimates, catch up readings, or the rates are pathetic. Highly unlikely you use anything like that amount.

It may help to know that you can search for words of less than four characters as part of a phrase. i.e. in the search box at the top you could type "oil change" (including the ""), then click the magnifying glass Same with "V1 Spoiler"

My Toyos took a fair while to bed in (500 miles or so). They are noticeably softer than the bridgestones, but they appear to be a whole lot better in the wet. I feel they are a lot stickier than the Bridgestones, and the car is a lot less prone to oversteer with these on. Or put another way, if you want to oversteer, it takes more right foot and a different style to the Bridgestones. I drive like Miss Daisy herself though, so am just apprciative of the extra grip/security I get from the Toyos.

Hmm - I remain to be convinced - it looks like it has JLo's arse.
-
Maybe thats why they gave it that name. Its that easy to lose having no way of securing it that you end up spending a fortune on replacements and recoding - that would make me rather "emotional" too. All good stuff to know for the future Jay, you keep finidng these faults buddy, it will save me a whole lot of research later, cheers Im trying to be productive - honest.
-
Jay, is it not keyless entry and start? Just leave it in your wallet. This has an added advantage. If you get back to your car and you cant get in, you know you've lost your wallet.
-
Guys just to note that if you havent already paid your outstanding balances for the accomodation at the Hoon, you need to do so NOW! If you dont call the chalet park and get the balance paid asap, then your booking will be cancelled Almost fell foul of this myself

Echo the above, discounting the tickets is our way of giving back to the community for making this place what it is We need to point out that this show clashes with the 2nd Wales run of the year - unfortunately the timing of other events just caused this clash, so sorry folks However, the 2nd Wales run in October usually has lower numbers. People who choose one weekend away tend to choose the first one, and there are of course the weather prospects - though touch wood we havent been let down yet. There are also those who prefer static meets to the drive out kind and vice verca, so hopefully rather than being seen as a clash, this could be seen as catering for everyones preferences at the same time Apologies for the clash, and of course we expect that some people who may have put their names down on either list may wish to remove themselves from one and add themselves to another etc. Regards, Chris. 1.
