  1. About bloody time the pc users have to pay for new maps, console users have had to pay every time. And why would modding the game be a good idea? I left pc gaming some time ago because of the modders/cheaters. Completely ruins the game for everyone.
  2. I watched the footage earlier before reading that the baby had survived - I felt positively sick when I saw it. The mother must have been in utter shock at the time.
  3. Nominet are the controling body for domain names. Like a central administration who records who owns which domain and for how long etc etc. They should be able to sort out the problem for you - but I have a fear it wont be a five minute job.
  4. Get in! Back of the net.....
  5. What he said ^^ But first, try unplugging the power cable from the back of the pc, leave for a few seconds then plug back in and try again. Even though it is not switched on, most still draw power to the board for various reasons. It could be that it is in a resume or suspend state that it cant wake from for some god only knows reason. Just remove it from all power sources for a few seconds and try again before you start opening it up.
  6. I would hope that Nissan customer services will instruct them (subject to your aproval) to start disasembling the roof assembly piece by piece and looking for the faulty part. Clearly there is something that wasnt budging, an from first hand experience of the issue at the hoon, it just seemed like there was one or more motors that were not operating in reverse. I assume that there are a set of motors each doing their own little job, and when going from roof open to roof closed, they all seemed to work other than the locking into place. When wanting to go from closed to open nothing happened, so its either an issue with the locking mechanism part which until its finished its job, doesnt allow the motors to start doing theirs, or an issue with the motors in reverse. Either way I reckon the only way of fixing this is as above, to start taking it apart bit by bit and seeing what has gone wrong. Nissan shuld perhaps be footing the bill or at least part of it anyway even if you are out of warranty, as it is in their interest to discover what has gone wrong, so that they can resolve this a lot quicker should another customer have the same problem in the future.
  7. Didnt take many pictures, and most have been replicated anyway - so here are three Ive played with. Two of the group, and one for Mike (stric9x)
  8. We have a nice new icon so you can add the 350z-uk.com website to your home screen on your iphone - just load the portal page up on your iphones browser, click the little plus icon and add it to your home screen. You now get our nice little Z logo on your home screen. Just another way for the uber lazy to get straight to the site from your new wonderphone
  9. Thread locked - see this announcement: viewtopic.php?f=16&t=28600 Scott - if you want to take this forward, then it may be worth creating a new post/thread (though note N1ck-z post above). As seperating the tech carbon elements from this thread will leave it in a bit of a mess.
  10. Thread locked - please see this announcement. viewtopic.php?f=16&t=28600
  11. All, Given the recent posts relating to one trader (tech carbon) and their alleged fraudulent activities involving carbon fibre products, the team have taken the following actions: Banner adverts for this trader have been removed. All threads relating to the sale of goods by this trader or on behalf of this trader have been moved, or are in the process of being moved, to a holding area with no public access. If we receive any enquiries from any legal authority relating to this trader, we are obliged to pass on any and all details. In the meanwhile we would encourage any member who may be affected by this traders activity either directly or indirectly to send PM to one of the team detailing their case. We can then ascertain if your purchase is affected by this trader and compile a list of affected persons. This may help the affected persons and also any legal complaints and charges brought against this person. Please can we refrain from posting any further threads on this subject, and also linking other traders names to these discussions. Regards, the 350z-uk.com team.
  12. Lamby - were you driving back up the M1 on Friday evening? Registration on the car very similar to your username? If so, I saw you pass me as I was in the Altea on the way back from the NEC.
  13. I think it was the "distraction" that caused us not to think of this
  14. Anyone near to chesterfield that wants to popin and collect the flags/banners? They fit easily in the boot of the Z so no worries on that part - its just Im not going to the Show and it would be nice to have them displayed. If anyone can pop over some time between now and Saturday evening that would be great
  15. To advise - this thread has been locked and prior posts removed. As stated by Rik, Prestige Styling and performance is a seperate legal entity to UV Worldwide, and Riks name is only listed as a director of Prestige Styling and performance, not UV Worldwide. Therefore based on legal advice being taken and a request from Rik, the thread has been removed bar the last post which should hopefully conclude the matter between the two parties. To avoid a reoccurence, please could Xendric and Rik either conclude this matter via PM or preferably their own email. Please dont start any more threads on this particular matter, as they will be removed in the same manner. Regards, 350z-uk.com team
  16. Had a quick read, it's quite interesting really. Though I think if I see one more person use the word brought, when they mean bought, I am actually going to throw my monitor out of the window. Brought: to carry, convey, conduct, or cause (someone or something) to come with, to, or toward the speaker: Bring the suitcase to my house. He brought his brother to my office. Bought: to acquire the possession of, or the right to, by paying or promising to pay an equivalent, esp. in money; purchase.
  17. Got the tickets today folks - they will be on their way to Rob tomorrow for handing out the morning of the show (cant risk posting them all out now seperately to everyone with the postal problems). The stand appears to be right in the middle of the show according to the map Ive been sent
  18. I have the injen full dual on mine. Havent got a clue on performance figures but it can get a bit "boomy" within the cabin as it resonates through the car quite a bit. Not great if you are wanting the car for long GT type journeys, as you find yourself searching for a gear/rpm to avoid the resonance, but the sound is quite good on the road. Not too loud and it doesnt have as much "rasp" as some systems. If you make it to a meet or show Im at, happy to let you have a listen for yourself and see what you think.
  19. You are showing as online to me I think it is to do with either logging off whilst in hidden, and possibly logging on again at another pc in visible mode. A change the settings to hidden. Log off (actually log off, not just close the browser). Log back on. change the settings to be visible. log off. clear cookies for 350z-uk.com, Log on again. I think that should cure the issue. Hopefully...

  21. No apologies needed Craig, we got there early enough, I think all of us were tired enough when home time came around so any earlier would have made us very tired indeed by the end of the day. Shame you had to turn round and head for home, but I supose its better than getting stranded even further from home. Lucky you spotted the tyre eggs when you got home before they caused any further problems. At least with you not being there the rest of us got some attention  Will be good to catch up at the next one
  22. Working on the pics now Great day out -and Marky, what a great turn around - brilliant car, its a credit to you and the bodyshop who helped you. Nice to meet some new faces too and see some regulars again - and watching a jet car do a 5.8 1/4 mile is something else!
