hensh65 Posted January 29, 2015 Posted January 29, 2015 That was absolutely horrific this morning! Thats what I would have said if I still had my zed Quattro rules the world! Quote
ioneabee Posted January 29, 2015 Posted January 29, 2015 just normal here - wet and windy in South West (Sunny) Wales Quote
Wendy Posted January 29, 2015 Posted January 29, 2015 No snow here and I bought a new Sledge - in hope it would. Also think I am going to have to move to somewhere with better snow conditions in Winter !! Quote
brillomaster Posted January 29, 2015 Posted January 29, 2015 booo spoke too soon... its snowing here now! hopefully I can get home, cant think of anything worse than being stuck at work... Quote
WhackyWill Posted January 29, 2015 Posted January 29, 2015 Nothing here yet, just a hail shower..don't need it as my drive is on a slope and the road out is also on a down hill into a main road, so when it snows or ice you go sliding straight into the main road. :scare: Quote

Hate the snow, would mean I wouldn't get to drive my Zed in the morning I do, with my Nankang SV-2's :D It's the other drivers I'm more concerned about!!! I don't have far to walk to work so would rather do that if we get too much snow...although I would like to see how my car handles in the snow Quote
nowhereboy Posted January 29, 2015 Posted January 29, 2015 It's still settling here. Drove the Z into work taking a de-tour into a big, open, empty, snow covered car park Quote
adam_350z Posted January 29, 2015 Posted January 29, 2015 (edited) Now i know why everyone says dont drive a z in the snow, had to find out for myself 😂 never even made it past the flat part of my street Edited January 29, 2015 by adam_350z 3 Quote
AMT Posted January 29, 2015 Author Posted January 29, 2015 (edited) Roads are clear here now and supposed to snow later but just light, hopefully won't settle. Tip for anyone buyin the autosocks, get some decent plastic bag or something to put them in while they sit in your car or it'll soak through your carpet. I had a heavy duty bag under it in the passenger footwell, had to empty...carefully...the dirty water puddle of melted snow/slush out the car at the end of work today lol. Yep there bad mate, I kept sliding towards the garage next to me where I park, you gotta watch that rear end even just manoeuvring lol Steady throttles, I seen plenty of people planting it today and getting in trouble lol Edited January 29, 2015 by AMT Quote
GMballistic Posted January 29, 2015 Posted January 29, 2015 We had about an hours worth of gentle snow here in Cardiff, ...has just melted away now though and never really settled. Guessing I've got one more day of work I'll have to do then before the weekend. Boooo. Quote
