twobears Posted September 28, 2014 Posted September 28, 2014 Yesterday was a very sad day for me as I had to leave my beloved Mr Zed at the garage with a little crowd of interested chaps peering at him But I am pleased to present my new baby, Stanley He is a much more practical choice for me now I am living in rented accommodation with limited parking space and neighbours who could probably run into another car in an empty car park Stanley 2 Quote
GMballistic Posted September 28, 2014 Posted September 28, 2014 Lovely colour and not a bad looker either. 1 Quote

twobears Posted September 28, 2014 Author Posted September 28, 2014 Thanks As always, I chose my car because I fell in love with the colour I have driven him a lot this weekend and had loads of what I assume are admiring glances but mainly from rather young men much to Mr Two Bears amusement. They must get a shock when they see Miss Marple sitting behind the wheel at Hugh 3 Quote
Humpy Posted September 28, 2014 Posted September 28, 2014 (edited) Great colour once again and lovely motors Edited September 28, 2014 by Humpy 1 Quote
Stutopia Posted September 28, 2014 Posted September 28, 2014 Cool choice for a "sensible" car 1 Quote
glrnet Posted September 29, 2014 Posted September 29, 2014 Not too shabby, great colour too Someone has to ask, why Stanley? Quote
twobears Posted September 29, 2014 Author Posted September 29, 2014 Thanks Ken Graham that's easy - STanley Quote
GIXXERUK Posted September 29, 2014 Posted September 29, 2014 great colour, nice car, the fords always get positive reviews for their handling any mods planned... magic tree ? Quote
twobears Posted September 29, 2014 Author Posted September 29, 2014 Thanks GIXXERUK, it does handle well, although I scared Mr Two Bears yesterday, apparently, when I really put that to the test Nah, no Magic Trees for Stanley. Maybe a light spritz of Chanel No 5? 1 Quote

Zeezeebaba Posted September 29, 2014 Posted September 29, 2014 (edited) Big Ford fan here, the fiesta St is an awesome little car. No more worries about the rear stepping out and I tell you now losing one from your tail on anything but a race track is extremely difficult. Ford have a knack of making you feel connected to the car, they are instinctive drivers cars. Brilliant choice mate well done. Edited September 29, 2014 by Zeezeebaba Quote
twobears Posted September 29, 2014 Author Posted September 29, 2014 Thanks Zeezeebaba I am definitely enjoying driving Stan. Very, very different car to Mr Z of course but Stanley likes fun too and I would love to get him out on a track p.s. I don't mind being called 'mate' but I am an old lady so maybe not the best thing to call me? Quote
Zeezeebaba Posted September 29, 2014 Posted September 29, 2014 Lol a neutral gesture, by some standards I'm considered an old man.Enjoy the car they drive lovely. Quote
pjf1985 Posted September 29, 2014 Posted September 29, 2014 Lovely looking motor, love the colour! (almost Azure-like lol) Heard they are very good little cars, enjoy it mate Quote
twobears Posted September 29, 2014 Author Posted September 29, 2014 Thanks everyone I'm getting used to being called 'mate' now and think it's growing on me Maybe I should get rid of the moustache and beard combo though? Off for a drive now because the courier has finally turned up so I am free to leave Two Bears Towers - yay Quote
Flex Posted September 29, 2014 Posted September 29, 2014 No doubt you'll be drag racing the next Zed you see Quote
twobears Posted September 29, 2014 Author Posted September 29, 2014 Hmm, I suspect you know a little bit more about 'drag' than I do That said however, I did see a spectacularly bad transvestite this weekend. What real woman would wear a see-through blouse and bright orange bra to visit a National Trust garden? Also, if you are going to wear a skirt that's split to the thigh, you really should shave your legs Quote

twobears Posted September 29, 2014 Author Posted September 29, 2014 If I'd known it was definitely Craig I'd have gone over and said 'hello' I'd also have given him the address of a good leg waxing lady Quote
Bockaaarck Posted September 29, 2014 Posted September 29, 2014 Stanley looks great, what a cracking car! Love the colour too 1 Quote
