Robothobo Posted December 27, 2013 Posted December 27, 2013 Hello all, I've recently decided after much deliberation, to buy a 350. A combination of looks and tech specs have won me over. Here's the cheeky question. I'd like a bit of buying advice please. Is there anything I should lookout for? My budget is no more than £10,000. Thanks, Mark Quote
ATTAK Z Posted December 27, 2013 Posted December 27, 2013 Hi Mark ... your budget should buy you a nice Zed Quote

Bems Posted December 27, 2013 Posted December 27, 2013 (edited) Welcome & good luck with the search. 10k will get you into the later HR model 2007-2009. You can tell these by the twin air intake and bulge in the bonnet. A forum member was/is selling a very tidy looking example which is on ebay. I'll find the link for you. http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/79467-what-a-cheap-2007-313-gt/ He may have sold it now as ebay listing has ended but worth a PM maybe. Edited December 27, 2013 by Bems Quote

chirag1988 Posted December 28, 2013 Posted December 28, 2013 Welcome man, I just bought my zed a couple of weeks ago. Had a similar budget to you but went over by £2k because I saw one which I really wanted. You'll definitely find yourself a good zed with that budget - defo look for the HR models and look out for the GT Spec Quote
HEADPHONES Posted December 28, 2013 Posted December 28, 2013 Congratulations on your choice of car:) If you post up where you're based you might even get some members local to you to help in your search. I remember helping one member compare my zed to a prospective purchase. It wasn't rough because it was "the raw feel designed into the zed" as the dealer told him. IT WAS JUST ROUGH! Good luck and as others have said you should be able to get a good example. Quote

Robothobo Posted December 30, 2013 Author Posted December 30, 2013 Hi all, so I've found an 06 GT spec that is actually under budget. I'm live in Oxford and gave been looking in a 60 mile radius. Think I will look at it today. Is excited. Quote
Robothobo Posted December 30, 2013 Author Posted December 30, 2013 (edited) And I've also found an 07 that is over budget. I'm rubbish at haggling. What's a reasonable offer on a car that's listed at 11,995? If I can get that under ten grand it could be right. Edited December 30, 2013 by Robothobo Quote

Hard to say but there is no harm in telling the buyer that £10K is your maximum offer and that's the best you can do ~ £2K off is a fair chunk though so they may tell you no sorry. Quote
R35LEE Posted December 30, 2013 Posted December 30, 2013 I know what I would say if someone asked for £2k off a car I had for sale worth a try though, if you don't ask you don't get Quote
