The first one I remember buying was The Housemartins - Caravan of Love Awful really but at least they are classed as 'Indie' and Norman Cook (aka Fatboy Slim) was a member of the band! Quote

I was 14 before I could afford a tape recorder, bought with money earned on my paper round ... it cost £14 and I was earning at the rate of 5 shillings a week ... so a full year's wages Quote
