Hi from across the pond...

Recommended Posts

and over the mountains... I'm in Portland, Oregon and ended up here because of the "clicky clicky" CV joint post in the FAQs. It's driving me crazy. I had a 1984 chevy POS a long time ago that started getting this problem; that ended horribly, and it sounds almost exactly the same so I'd rather just fix the root cause than chase gremlins. That CV joint post is muy bueno, thank you.

I've also got the fuel gauge issue, which I've seen on other forums, but the write-up here is top notch.

It's very disturbing that the Nissan dealerships in my area are so full of the same disinformation that it seems you guys suffer from- disturbing in the sense that the dealers should be the people that know more about their cars than anyone (and are willing to share that information!), and that doesn't seem to be the case, regardless of where you are.

Anyway I've got an '05 silver 'vert. rolling with a hacked sony 610BT... hacked Samsung S3... and fully functional mirrorlink (still not available stateside), a carputer where the nav used to be, and a whole buncha audio stuff jammed into the "glovebox" and the old nav reader spot. I've never done anything mechanical to the vehicle other than keep the fluids right and follow the maintenance schedule, until now (CV Joint issue).

I guess this is post 1 of 5 before I'm considered "cool" around here. B)
