spursmaddave Posted August 4, 2012 Posted August 4, 2012 I think it looks a bit tacky lol Hmmm I'm not sure. The car or the wheels Quote
Will370z Posted August 4, 2012 Posted August 4, 2012 Looks great as it is mate, but of those colours gold seems to go rather well. Wouldnt go for dark wheels as they get drowned out at the rear Quote
DoogyRev Posted August 4, 2012 Posted August 4, 2012 hmm.. Cheers chaps! I honestly dont know what to do. May just leave them as is if I can make my mind up. LRF4N Posted August 4, 2012 Posted August 4, 2012 Better? It's a close match. If not, just use your bloody imagination! looks awesome.. That looks good. First red was too light like u say. I think u could go a touch darker again to really set it off Quote
LRF4N Posted August 4, 2012 Posted August 4, 2012 Or how about smoked chrome with red accents on each spoke? Not sure how it would work on rays but as others have mentioned adding more colours can ruin the look Quote
daveparkin Posted August 4, 2012 Posted August 4, 2012 I have to say, I like the white, it works well on a liveried car in a rally-car kind of way.... Quote
ph 7 Posted August 4, 2012 Posted August 4, 2012 I think the one in the background with the red rim could be a winner Or how about smoked chrome with red accents on each spoke? Not sure how it would work on rays but as others have mentioned adding more colours can ruin the look Quote
ph 7 Posted August 4, 2012 Posted August 4, 2012 and there you are, my rough mock up...also with the brembos coated to finish the look. Quote

Stew Posted August 4, 2012 Posted August 4, 2012 Joking aside, when I miniaturized the window and all the pics were tiny the green popped out a mile and looked awesome! I just noticed if you squint and scroll through you'll see the same! Kermit Green wheels are the way forward Neily! Quote
Neilp Posted August 5, 2012 Author Posted August 5, 2012 Joking aside, when I miniaturized the window and all the pics were tiny the green popped out a mile and looked awesome! I just noticed if you squint and scroll through you'll see the same! Kermit Green wheels are the way forward Neily! I actually think I agree lol. I don't want to go two tone etc as these wheels are getting the point hell beat out then and tyres changed almost weekly Quote
LRF4N Posted August 5, 2012 Posted August 5, 2012 That's the one. Then Neil can be both ken block AND vin diesel! Quote
spursmaddave Posted August 5, 2012 Posted August 5, 2012 They will be sticking those in the tate modern stew, nice work lol He will be getting a summons from myself for copyright infringement Quote

Leeroy Posted August 5, 2012 Posted August 5, 2012 I quite like the odd wheel option TBH. Problems with photobucket images, might look into it if I have time. Quote
The Chubby Ninja Posted August 5, 2012 Posted August 5, 2012 Green wheels with a green rollcage would look sweet Quote
KyleR Posted August 6, 2012 Posted August 6, 2012 For some reason I think green makes the wheels look smaller how about black with red lip/ken block style on the rear and gun metal on the front? Quote
Neilp Posted August 6, 2012 Author Posted August 6, 2012 Green wheels with a green rollcage would look sweet The amount of cash it cost to get the cage put in there is no way I'd be pulling it back out to powder coat it You wouldn't believe the amount of work involved in even installing a bolt in cage. The cage started life in blue so had to get powdercoated before installing also so that was more cash lol Quote
Neilp Posted August 6, 2012 Author Posted August 6, 2012 That's the one. Then Neil can be both ken block AND vin diesel! Is it wrong that I think that looks awesome?? Quote
LRF4N Posted August 6, 2012 Posted August 6, 2012 I like it. I'd go dark grey or anthracite with red and red calipers Quote
Jay Posted August 6, 2012 Posted August 6, 2012 I would go for the hot pink wheels......... why the hell not its a track beast Quote
