  1. Hey everyone, long time no speak! It has been a few years since I had to let go of the zed due to and I have gone through a Type R, an XF and now have a tractor! I had held onto various parts of the zed and stored them in my loft on the basis that I would one day buy another and use them again but I think that day has now passed and my car reqs have changed. As such I'm going to have a clearout over the next few weekends but wanted to check if I'm still allowed to post into the trading section seeing as it has been a couple of years? Would rather offer them up here first before they fall into ebay's clutches.
  2. I have a 2 x 2004 standard front bumper in blue you can have either for very little....my wife would like them gone.. It would need a respray..but hey, it's only going to cost you some good quality beer!
  3. Just read this through, what a mess! Hope you get everything sorted. now onto the more important side of things, the poo predictor. i can't edit it either so could someone pop in my details? Your name PH 7 DOB 23/03/17 TOB 04:20 Weight (g) 2500 Length (cm) 3 then 12 (defo pinch off after the initial pain) Girth (cm) 8 falling to 4 Name 50 Shades of Poo

  5. it is really easy. The guide is here: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/85821-how-to-bose-subwoofer-cutout-fix-amp/ Honestly, 4 bolts to remove the sub, 2 bolts to loosen the amp, unclip the amp, buy the relay, ask a friendly electrician to solder the relay onto the board. Job done. I previously did the folded card solution, but it is really temporary.
  6. and because we are on a fresh page...this needs another picture near the top... crap photo #468 I really need to get my camera on the case
  7. horrible to hear this has happened. If you have the time to break the car down you may not do too badly out of it. There are desirable parts even if the engine out of the equation May I ask if there were any indicators before failure...if some good can come of this, then a warning for fellow owners may be it. I hope this means you are on the market for another though!
  8. I wish I had 1200-1500 to throw at the 20" gtr alloys. I doubt my spine would take it! a few peeps run 20's though...a bit of arch rolling here and there will do it. But the GT4 wheels do have a passing resemblance to them, which is never a bad thing
  9. Thanks bud, sorry I beat you to it! (although many beat us before) I actually bought the spoiler in 2015, there just wasn't a good opportunity to fit. I snaffled mine from an ebay breaker, £20. Best cheap item I think I've bought. Tricky item to come across and in my completely biased view of 350z spoilers...the best non-official spoiler there is out there. Are there even any other car spoilers that people have put on it? I just don't like the nismo one, I can't put my finger on it in all honesty, but something bugs me about it. at first I thought it was an angle thing, but I think there is more to it.
  10. the azure ones always do eh? Your posts makes me want to be in scotland...if you can make the trip, then I certainly have no reason not to!
  11. MOT Done, MOT fail, Wheel Bearings replaced, MOT Pass...happy days But then last might i put my new wheels on!!!!!! Courtesy of ConnorW06, my GT4 Anniversary wheels :teeth: :teeth: I have always liked them since they were first out, so i'm thrilled to have a set especially in this colour. Even if they do weigh more than the rays i'm taking off. I just need to lose some weight as my own weight gain has been more than the wheels! Pic porn time...apologies for the quality, dusk and with a blackberry leap is never going to yield the best results, I'll have to get my proper camera on it on a sunny day.
  12. Well I can only give them an endorsement after how they handled my claim, see my build thread for the details and the hire car I got. I suppose as they are a broker, the underwriters we are all using changes so maybe that accounts for some of the swing in opinion.
  13. I'm sure someone here has those, or at least extremely similar.
  14. I still have mine from before I swapped out to clear.
  15. I don't disagree with either of you. I try not to think of them as trying to be a 'z' and just a pattern otherwise my ocd will explode. In add to the OEM face lift I would also add the OEM anniversary clear ones into the mix
  16. never, lets face it, the only function our rear lights perform is the brake light. As long as that lights up to a sufficient level there really isn't a problem is there? The amount of cars I see running with a bulb broken and never see them getting stopped and that must be much worse. I quite like the smoked units as they are a little less blingy than mine. I only bought them as someone else hated them also local(ish) to me, so I thought what the hell. If you are thinking of getting rid of them then I might be interested in all honesty, i'll give you £2 full double of your previous offer!
  17. I have some! They do bulge but if the rest of the rear end is sharper, then I think it works. But that is why I had the spoiler I did, so that the over hang meets the bulge. Combined with the spats, I think it works...but after all, it is just a taste issue. I too always despised aftermarket lights. The really hateful ones are the round frog eye rears, the make no sense at all If you are throwing them away, i'll have them as spares!!
  18. Oooh, Looking forward to seeing your car in the flesh!
  19. how about the convertible close call at 2:26!!!! jeez that was almost 3 people doomed
  20. Hi Jon, Yeah, new would be my preferred, thanks for the offer though. 2nd update on timings is that I will drop the car to the garage on Monday morning which takes the pressure off delivery a little.
  21. Well an update on timings. I will be having the work done Monday / Tuesday so I only need the supply of the bearings for Friday. I suppose I should have put this in wanted, if a friendly mod wishes to shift it, thanks in advance.
  22. yep, if any trader wants to price match that i'll be happy
  23. Well rather bizarrely after saying that my car has been good for the 200k mileage it seems I tempted fate On MOT test both of my rear bearings have excessive play. Can I have some pricing on some replacements please? UK spec 04 350z with standard power output. They were both only replaced within the last 25k miles. Surely they should last longer than that! Zero drifting or track abuse has occurred, just uk roads. If there is an aftermarket/uprated part available then I would also be interested in that as an option. but i'm guessing that would be for far bigger power outputs than mine Need them pretty sharpish as my MOT runs out on the 4th
