  1. 10 plate, in white. Pulled into Doddington Road behind me off the roundabout yesterday, reminisced over my old 350Z a little
  2. Blade silver 350Z, in the background of a shot of Bovingdon's 996 in the pits of some track or other. Reg no. P** TUT I think.....
  3. Apples and oranges really, go for the 370z every time. I haven't tried the TTS but have had a go in the TTRS on track, great car but it wasn't any more fun than my car at the time which was a 350z.

Link fail Here it is, bit more than £100 but you never know..... http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/76080-loft-clearance/page__hl__front
  5. Black Nismo'd Zed. Looked fantastic and made me miss my previous Zed just a little bit

Is this lip any good to you?
  7. Without slagging the Zed off too much, it really is a different league. A fair bit faster and the way it corners is just so balanced. Cheers for the comments, glad its a well respected car. Happy days, I always imagine the M3 handling to be more refined than the Zed - that isn't a criticism of the 350Z though, I love it's slightly 'rebellious' attitude.
  8. Sod the badge snobbery, I like the VX220. I love Elises too but the rarity of the VX makes it interesting. There's a lot to be said for modest power, especially in a lightweight. I honestly think that the 350Z has the perfect amount of power - at least you can use everything it has a lot of the time.
  9. Very nice, how does it compare to the Zed drive-wise?
  10. The 911's and Z3M's are a safe bet. S1 Elises should go the same way as the original Elan eventually, although there are a few more of them I guess. How's about an Esprit? An E30 M3 or Integrale would be an awesome ownershiop proposition - not 2 seaters I know. Maybe out of budget too.
  11. Along witth the scrappage scheme this is a crime against perfectly good old cars
  12. Thanks Ekona, I should have read all of them, good car the M5..!! Easily done. Tis awesome Will, really pleased with it
  13. Oh no, my inner hatred of urban 4x4's has been stirred again....must....resist.....responding
  14. Bit of a late response here Rob, I havn't spent much time 'round these parts lately I'm sure your fettling has transformed her. Be good to see the difference some time fo' sho'! It goes like a train. The previous owner admitted to hitting 170 on the Autobahn and from experience to date that would be a rather simple task The E39 M5 is commonly known as 'The Beast'. Personally, I think it's a bit ghey when people give cars names but that one's pretty apt
  15. It's a big ol' machine Dave, so easily done I'd say. The car fools you into thinking it's lighter than it is because of the power and handling on the move. This can result in a few 'squeaky-bum-time' stops and corners though I should think your new Jaaaaag is similar.
  16. Have your wheels been refurbed in the past? If new pads (properly bedded in) don't solve the issue, or it comes back this may be your problem. This is often overlooked (or pooh-poohed!) but if there are high spots in the paint on the wheel and run-out isn't checked prior to fitting new discs, the judder will come back in a few hundred miles. Hope your new pads solve the problem though
  17. It's a proper nause isn't it? There's a battery operated pressure washer reviewed in July's evo, I've been considering it because we live in a flat at the mo - it got a decent review.... http://www.nomad-direct.co.uk/index.php/products/nomad-18-v-cordless/c_1.html I normally drive to the the jet wash then chuck a bucket of water over the car when I get home, before waxing etc.
  18. Looking forward to build threads also! I reckon there's a gap in the market for baby stuff that makes noises that don't annoy the sh*t out of you, some of the bouncers etc are massively annoying. I want to see something that emits nice noises like five cylinder burbles or V10 barks
  19. Using that wisdom, you're best off without
  20. You might have to move out of London to catch emotions on the street.
  21. Yeah, it isn't cheap. Basically you pay for friends Actually, we quite enjoyed the classes and met some good friends. One just bought a Caterham in fact
  22. National Childcare Trust or similar, can't be arsed to google
  23. We had a girl who was having a C-Section in our group, maybe she found that out halfway through. Anyways, they teach post natal stuff too like nappy changing, using slings etc so I'd still strongly recommend it - the biggest selling point is for the mum's to create a network to socialise with baby
  24. The first few weeks are crazy but you'll get into the swing of it after a week or two. I recommend joining an NCT group. It's a bit weird being back in an 'educational' environment again and you don't actually 'learn' much but the girls all get together regularly after the babies are born which is good for mum's sanity. Our group are a good bunch and we meet-up every few saturdays in a local pub which usually ends up as a day of drinking for the blokes
