Keyser Posted November 20, 2011 Author Posted November 20, 2011 Good evening another day in the shed and was very happy with the result. The plan for today was to attack this - So I set about it with my trusty sandblaster and after a mere 4 hours I had it to this point - So back underneath for another 4 hour session O what fun LOL, Anyway As the light started to fade I was happy - So cleaned the Zedshed up fixed a few sheared studs and bolts in captive nuts including this one which I decided replacing with a bolt would be the best option so I ground it level, drilled it through and ran an M6 die through. Sorted Treated all the bare bits with some Jenolite and moved onto the really fun bit a spot paint and by the end of the day I had this - That's all folks ............ Quote

See there's the difference........I've spent the last 11 years working hard to bring the world to the brink of the financial apocalypse rather than tinkering with engines Quote

Keyser Posted November 22, 2011 Author Posted November 22, 2011 Let me know if you would like this thread moved to the new build projects forum I was wondering if this was in the wrong place now It did start as and engine swap with bay clean up - sort of went a bit further than that! So yes Lexx, please move to a more suitable spot Thanks Quote
Keyser Posted November 22, 2011 Author Posted November 22, 2011 Hello again - you lot not bored yet? OK Tried to take some pictures in daylight I failed - The cameras nothing special as I'm banned from using the good one in the Zedshed I'll post them anyway you'll just have to imagine how shiny it is OK didn't do much tonight just stripped the diff down and checked the Kazza out - all looking like new (it's not that old) oil was like new as well. Breaking News - More toys arrived at the shed today and its not even December Bad news was the state of the outer packaging !!! These have come from Japan to the US of A then on to Blighty - However, Luckily for me it appears Bride believe in adding lots of foam for the journey and no damage done Why? you ask did they come via the USA - well it was arranged to add a little something en route My new twin plate clutch Stay tuned That's all folks ............
