brillomaster Posted September 28, 2011 Posted September 28, 2011 Anyone else rather enjoying the warm weather at the moment! Doing anything out of the ordinary to celebrate? Its just a small win, but yesterday walked down our local and had a pint in the afternoon sunshine after work - and might even wash my car if it stays like this at the weekend Quote
DannyBoy Posted September 28, 2011 Posted September 28, 2011 Driving around with the windows down all day, it's the small things in life DB Quote
Woody Posted September 28, 2011 Posted September 28, 2011 Been in the back garden all day, finishing my little garden project and enjoying the last of my 18 days off Quote
GoralGT Posted September 28, 2011 Posted September 28, 2011 I've done the same. Spent my lunch time on with windows down:) It's unusual. Sun in Scotland at this time of the year Quote
Stew Posted September 28, 2011 Posted September 28, 2011 Motorbike will be out this week! One of my mates is home just now so an afternoon beer garden pint may well take place! Nothing out of the ordinary but it's nice to make the most of it! I also went round and took my dads summer toy roof off again after it had been tucked up for winter. That was a pleasant surprise! EH 370z Posted September 28, 2011 Posted September 28, 2011 In a glass showroom, with no A/C, sweating like a glass blowers arse! Nice Out on the Speed Triple tonight though Quote
AK350Z Posted September 28, 2011 Posted September 28, 2011 Off work, so I've been caning the bike round all day. It's been magnificent! Quote

coldel Posted September 28, 2011 Posted September 28, 2011 Drove at 60mph on the M4 with windows down and right arm out on the window ledge cruising it...awesome Quote
Ian Posted September 28, 2011 Posted September 28, 2011 Been wrapped up warm trying to sweat out a cold Seems to have worked just in time for a few days off Quote
Ebized Posted September 28, 2011 Posted September 28, 2011 My lucky day today - 370 in for a service and given a 370 roadster (latest version with just 500 miles on the clock) to use I have never owned or driven a convertible before (other than on track at performance days) so a real bonus with the weather today. First impressions - its a damn sight easier to get in and out with no roof up - I see why Will350Z likes his so much for that reason alone But being 6'2" I was also aware of the sun blinding me where the roof wasn't, if you get my drift Been promised a 370 limited edition GT to try next time I'm there so I can properly compare the suspension changes First class service and help again from Motorline Nissan at Tunbridge Wells Quote
choptop Posted September 28, 2011 Posted September 28, 2011 27 Degrees in Bristol this afternoon........sweet Quote
rabbitstew Posted September 28, 2011 Posted September 28, 2011 Been ace, had the roof down pretty much all this week and thats made me remember why i love the roadster so much. Quote
evest Posted September 28, 2011 Posted September 28, 2011 I was lucky enough to spend the day rock climbing on the Welsh coast, down near barmouth. Absolutely fantastic, soul reviving weather and scenery. Back to work tomorrow... Quote
geoff-r Posted September 28, 2011 Posted September 28, 2011 Sweating it out in an office with no a/c, not by a window with a ropey 8" fan. Still going outside and feeling that warmth is good. Quote
Wasso Posted September 28, 2011 Posted September 28, 2011 Bored listening to the prosecution for the last 2.5 weeks and still another 10 weeks of jury service to go. Then working Sat and detailing Sunday, but at least I can see the Sun Quote

I know you can't say but can you indicate if its a "white collar" crime or something more serious? Quote

I know you can't say but can you indicate if its a "white collar" crime or something more serious? It's already been in the news and on the net. So I can give you this link. JetSet Posted September 28, 2011 Posted September 28, 2011 27 degrees here today, that amazingly is the warmest day we've had around here since June 2009 Pete Quote
AK350Z Posted September 28, 2011 Posted September 28, 2011 Not bad, international drug smugglers, quite a sexy case then! Better than drawing some of the proper grim stuff you read about I suppose. Quote

True, it took 2 full days just to read the story from the start, we are currently on day 6 of the evidence, which is basically a schedule of events, we're only 2/3 of the way through this, and another 3 days more before the defendants are up. We're talking 5 ton of drugs here, no small time dealer! Quote
rabbitstew Posted September 29, 2011 Posted September 29, 2011 We're talking 5 ton of drugs here, no small time dealer! If that was Charlie Sheen I guess he could claim it was for personal use over the w/end. Quote
bronzee Posted September 29, 2011 Posted September 29, 2011 - and might even wash my car if it stays like this at the weekend You know it's an unwritten rule, if the words car and wash are mentioned in the same sentence, that it's bound to precipitate. Really enjoying painting the boat while Al is away. Didn't he hide the paint brushes from you?! No painting racing stripes down the sides. Quote
martinmac Posted September 29, 2011 Posted September 29, 2011 Looking at getting it wrapped Bronzee. The hottest place in the country yesterday..... Gravesend. Quote
