Ian Posted May 5, 2011 Posted May 5, 2011 Just watched my Z be driven off by her new owner I'm sad now Quote
fakeindian Posted May 5, 2011 Posted May 5, 2011 Don't worry mate I'm sure you'll have a new weekend toy soon Quote
Will370z Posted May 5, 2011 Posted May 5, 2011 Ah man that sucks, sorry to hear it. Are you getting anything fun to replace her? Quote
Ian Posted May 5, 2011 Author Posted May 5, 2011 What's coming? I *Think* it might be a R34 GTR but I'm not sure yet. So many more cars to test first Quote
AK350Z Posted May 5, 2011 Posted May 5, 2011 What's coming? another 6 cylinders with a turbo wasn't it? Quote
George Dredd Posted May 5, 2011 Posted May 5, 2011 Go and look at the wedge of cash you just got for it, that'll cheer you up! Quote
Ian Posted May 5, 2011 Author Posted May 5, 2011 What's coming? another 6 cylinders with a turbo wasn't it? 2 Turbos or maybe 8 cylinders & Italian Quote
ATTAK Z Posted May 5, 2011 Posted May 5, 2011 or maybe 8 cylinders & Italian It's time we had a Masser to talk about Quote
AK350Z Posted May 5, 2011 Posted May 5, 2011 What's coming? another 6 cylinders with a turbo wasn't it? 2 Turbos or maybe 8 cylinders & Italian I'd be scratching that itch! Until service time... Don't think a 4200 is special enough to be worth the hassle though. Quote
Ian Posted May 5, 2011 Author Posted May 5, 2011 Gonna look at some 911s next week but I can't see them changing my mind from the 34. The 34 was the only reason I decided to strip the Z. Quote

Its gonna get modded either way so not too bothered about it being pristine just yet Aslong as its mechanically fine I'll be happy - The RB motor scares me a bit Quote

Theres a couple of rb motors for sale online, had a look at maybe dropping one into the zed as i cant afford to twin turbo it yet and cant afford a v8 The guy i spoke to at apex motorsport told me to avoid the rb wait till i have a spare 10k to drop in a v8 .. The rb sounds amazing. One of my favourite sounding cars. Theres an r34 gtr around here and its beautiful. Its a very deep purple colour and sounds outstanding. You'll never beat the sound of the turbo's chewing up the air Quote
veilside z Posted May 6, 2011 Posted May 6, 2011 good luck with the search. if all fails you could always build another z Quote
