Ekona Posted February 16, 2011 Posted February 16, 2011 # Giraffe # Pizza Express # Carluccio's Caffe # Wagamama # Byron # Strada # Nando's # Jamie's Italian # Ask # Cafe Rouge # Zizzi As per here I don't have too much of an issue with kids in restaurants in general really as me and brother used to go to a few when we were younger with your parents, but it's when they start screaming and crying and (especially) running around everywhere that makes me want to kill someone. Why on earth parents can't control their kids or take them outside when they're playing up is beyond me. Quote
sparky370z Posted February 16, 2011 Posted February 16, 2011 mcdonalds, KFC and burger king arent on that list??? Quote
Ekona Posted February 16, 2011 Author Posted February 16, 2011 No-one with taste buds goes there anyway Quote
sparky370z Posted February 16, 2011 Posted February 16, 2011 i take the mrs to McD's and if we're getting dressed up its burger king for the posh nosh! Quote
Husky Posted February 16, 2011 Posted February 16, 2011 haha i was goign to say, i hope that has nandos on it. and it does i like franky and benny's instead of nandos pizza hut for sit in pizza, dominos for take away, both instead of pizza express Quote
martinmac Posted February 16, 2011 Posted February 16, 2011 When asked if our local allows dogs there is one common answer... " dogs are welcome, children must be on leads". Quote
James B Posted February 16, 2011 Posted February 16, 2011 Pizza Express is the worst in town near me. Invariably two (or more) women chatting with a couple of glasses of wine while their children run around screaming and generally tearing the place up. Feel like screaming "JUST BECAUSE YOU CAN TUNE THEM OUT DOESNT MEAN ANY OTHER HUMAN WITH EARS CAN!" Quote
srobrien Posted February 16, 2011 Posted February 16, 2011 Wouldn't grace Wagamamas with my presence again, If there are only 2 of you they seat you on a 4 seater table next to randoms, usually fat gits that can't seem to co-ordinate hand mouth actions. It's not that cheap either, crap. R Quote

choptop Posted February 16, 2011 Posted February 16, 2011 Have to say that the Wagamama'sin Bristol and Bath are excellent. Not the cheapest of places but have to say the ones around here are good. Quote
350 Russ Posted February 16, 2011 Posted February 16, 2011 ive got to say that frankie and bennys in watford is a nightmare for kids running rampant, i lasted 20 mins after sitting down to leaving. there were kids running round like they were possessed and letting off balloons. in the end we went home and ordered a curry Quote
rtbiscuit Posted February 16, 2011 Posted February 16, 2011 i use nandos as a takeaway service, and eat it in the peace and quiet of home. hate noisey kids in restaurants, i work all day with them and dont want to see them in my free time. please notice i say noisey. if you have something like the stepford kids who are little angels when out, your more than welcome to be in a restaurant with me at the same time. if you have spawned a damien then leave it at home. never been afraid to tell someone to sort their kids out got in trouble a few times for speaking my mind Quote
Ricey Posted February 16, 2011 Posted February 16, 2011 Regardless of the kids issue TGI Fridays must be added - or at the very least the one near Cheshire Oaks. I have it on good authority that burgers regularly get wiped on bodily appendages before being served up...........and the worst thing is before I knew about this I used to tell people about the rather odd tasting burger I had there that tasted like it had been slapped with a fish Quote

Ekona Posted February 16, 2011 Author Posted February 16, 2011 Dominos is for chavs. Real pizza aficionados go to Pizza Hut for either sit-in or take out. Quote
cmck13 Posted February 17, 2011 Posted February 17, 2011 Take a page out from the male Lions in Africa, if they don't like their young they eat them, perhaps we could have restaurants with a bring and buy sale?? Quote
captain Posted February 17, 2011 Posted February 17, 2011 I Zizzi in Cardiff. The one in Bristol is naff though. Quote
UNABASHED Posted February 17, 2011 Posted February 17, 2011 haha i was goign to say, i hope that has nandos on it. and it does i like franky and benny's instead of nandos pizza hut for sit in pizza, dominos for take away, both instead of pizza express I HATE Franky & Benny's - food is always below par, place looks cheap and nasty and there is always at least 15 birthdays throughout the meal with the staff singing to them and expecting everyone to join in with applauding the lucky poeple - it's more like a wacky warehouse!! Oh, and Nando's is teh awesome! Quote
Stew Posted February 17, 2011 Posted February 17, 2011 I went to Franky and Bennys for the last time about 5 years ago. Absolute garbage. I nipped to Nandos with my mate yesterday and it was full of mums with babies???? Wagamama food is nice, last time me and my mate were in we were sat beside JLS. I'm not the biggest fan of chain restaurants but they are normally ok for midweek lunch. Quote
geoff-r Posted February 17, 2011 Posted February 17, 2011 I Zizzi in Cardiff. The one in Bristol is naff though. I went there the other day, very nice! But whilst we're at it Franky and Bennies is terrible, I couldn't think of anything worse, microwaved crap! Quote
