Z-monster Posted December 9, 2012 Posted December 9, 2012 Does this same schedule apply to the VQ35HR engines too? I'm due the 64k service according to that schedule, but I get my oil done every 3k miles anyway as an old habit. Also, looking at going to Wessex Garages in Cardiff: any good reviews? Thanks! Quote
FUG Posted January 26, 2013 Posted January 26, 2013 i change the oil every 3000 miles , is this right .. Seems bit excessive I change every 9000 miles or every year and keep an eye on the level topping up as necessary Quote
FUG Posted January 26, 2013 Posted January 26, 2013 My 350 is due a 5 year P1 service. Anyone got suggestions as to which are the best replacement plugs to use and where to get them without paying Nissan Service prices? NGK iridium spark plugs Quote
JonH Posted January 31, 2013 Posted January 31, 2013 Hi All Going to look at a 350 soon. The 54k service, I believe that's a big one? Is there a full list of what should be done please? (the link above doesn't seem to work) Thanks in advance. Quote
cs2000 Posted January 31, 2013 Posted January 31, 2013 Damnit dont say thats the big one! mine (54k service) is almost due, but it was late for a few other services so this one is actually due at 59k. I have a receipt in my pack of paperwork for the first service at over £600.00..... Quote
JonH Posted January 31, 2013 Posted January 31, 2013 Actually looking around it doesn't seem that big but still interested to know what's involved. Also (sorry for ignorance!) is it a cam chain or belt? I'm hoping chain but even so does it or tensioner need changing at some mileage? Hi All Going to look at a 350 soon. The 54k service, I believe that's a big one? Is there a full list of what should be done please? (the link above doesn't seem to work) Thanks in advance. Quote

James5582davies Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 Nissan in Oswestry are very competitive on pricing on service. Quote
Garyt350z Posted November 10, 2013 Posted November 10, 2013 Apart from the P1,2 and 3 services. When is it recommended to do plugs, gearbox oil, diff oil and fuel and oil filter? My Zed is nearing the 100k and feel I would like to give her a massive refreshing service, any down sides to this? Thanks Quote

MITZ@CougarStore Posted November 10, 2013 Posted November 10, 2013 We go with plugs at 45,000 or 5 years, same age for the belts too or sooner if they show signs of wear... Let us know if we can help with parts or if you're local to Leicester we can service too... Quote
MITZ@CougarStore Posted November 10, 2013 Posted November 10, 2013 No fuel filter swap needed and oil filter takes place with every oil change... Quote
Ewen@Clark Motorsport Posted November 10, 2013 Posted November 10, 2013 This is what we recommend: Spark Plugs should be changed at 5 years or 54,000 miles Antifreeze should be changed at 3 years or 36,000 miles Transmission fluid should be changed at 3 years or 36,000 miles VLSD fluid should be changed at 3 years or 36,000 miles Front engine belts should be changed at 3 years or 36,000 miles Service parts always in stock for the DE and HR Quote
Garyt350z Posted November 10, 2013 Posted November 10, 2013 Cheers lads, so if the history of my car is unknown and has 98k I'd be better just doin everything now? Any problems with using iridium plugs instead of stock ones? Quote
Omegamanuk Posted December 18, 2013 Posted December 18, 2013 Just bought a 350z from the dealer and they were doing a 2 years free servicing deal if you took out finance, they told me take it out make three payments and clear balance, this costs £236 in interest and arrangement fees so looking on here at service costs it appears worth while. ( you also get 2 years rac cover) Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD Quote
Jay Posted January 8, 2014 Posted January 8, 2014 Gents, quick check. A 370z service intervals are the same as the 350z right? Quote
