[SOLD]2004 GM Coupe Manual 68k - The Shark For Sale

My beloved 350Z GT manual, coupe, in Gunmetal, black leather interior and cheaper road tax. Purchased in February 2013 on a very low 33,650 miles and now up to 68,100 (rising slightly with daily driving). She's been an absolute pleasure to own and has never wanted for anything.

You can see below the common Zed issues I've addressed, so you don't have to.

Maintenance Work Done

- replaced both cam position sensors

- clicky axles fixed

- new Bosch battery

- replaced the w-brace
 and end fixings

- replaced offside banana bar

- replaced clutch slave cylinder

- added braided clutch line, with uprated fluid

- new clutch and dual mass flywheel

- replaced both cam covers

For a 13 year old car she’s in excellent condition but there some age related items.

- Front end has the usual Zed stone chips.

- Rays were refurbished 3 years ago and are in good shape but there is some kerbing.

- Driver’s side seat bolter is losing a battle with my ass.

- Some clown has chipped the passenger door.

In addition to routine maintenance, my favourite mods are listed below.

Stopping, Turning & Going

- DBA T2 disc and Ferodo DS2500 pads all round – improved braking power and resistance to fade

- HEL braided lines added, with RBF fluid

-Nismo RS throttle pedal, for easier heel and toe

- Bilstein B6 dampers, TEIN S springs, Whiteline drop links and Eibach ARB – a full overhaul of the suspension

- Plenum spacer, Berk HFC and Cobra resonated exhaust added to aid breathing and give a beefier sound

- UpRev at TDI North yielding 292bhp and 264 lbft

Cosmetic Work

- added front lip, side steps, spats and rear spoiler – colour coded for an OEM+ look

- added a carbon rear diffuser

- upgraded to 2006 LED rear lights and crystal indicators

- polished plenum

- replaced the floppy plastic under tray with quality aluminium Z speed under tray

- carbon dipped the scratched interior door plastics

- painted the centre console, colour coded gunmetal but with a matt finish

- re-sprayed the wing mirrors (black) and door handles (original)

- added quarter window louvres (painted black)

- gloss vinyl wrapped roof

- boot glass privacy tint

- added a dash camera

- Jack Royal steering wheel refurb – thicker, flat bottomed and shaped for your thumbs - this is a sensational upgrade over OEM

Upgraded ICE (£1,000+)

I have replaced the Bose kit with:

- Pioneer double din, with reverse camera and ready to connect and charge your iPhone or Android phone.

CamDisplay_zpsbca3c1df.jpg

- Hertz HDP5 - 5 Channel Amplifier - under the boot floor hidden from view

jDP6VQO.jpg

- Hertz HSK 165 Components – tweeters out of shot above

Hertz_zps9bbc6ef3.jpg

- No photo of the Hertz HCX 165 Coaxial rear speakers, but they are there.

- Clarion 10” Sub, in the OEM location.

- Dynamat in the doors, sub enclosure and lining some of the boot plastics to reduce resonance and vibration.

I’ve kept a hefty binger full of history and invoices for maintenance and modifications. For my full build you can review the PDF attached and also at http://www.350z-uk.c...the-shark-build.

As a small cherry on this magnificent cake, I'll even include a DVD of The Run. Nissan’s promotional 350Z movie, filmed on location racing through the ancient streets of Prague. An homage to the classic 1976 Parisian short film “C'était un rendez-vous”. There’s also a few DVD extras.

Didn't expect that, you only just got the centre console painted. What's made you want to sell, or more importantly, what are you changing to?

Great advert though, GLWS.

Cheers. The centre console has been a work in progress for ages, it's just a question of unlucky timing.

The reason for sale is a BRZ in gorgeous WRC blue and a G37 have both popped up locally and I'm not entirely certain I can resist both of them.

If this was £500 less i wouldn't even have to think about it absolutely gorgeous

As it says, I'm open to offers.

Its too cheap as it is... We should make a stand against these low prices.

My favorite part is the umbrella. :ninja:

I didn't even notice that first time! That's a really classy mod!! great work :D

Thanks! More of practical one than most of mine, super useful.

Except you have to get out the car and walk around to the boot to get it. :snorkel:

By the looks of it, the only reason this hasn't sold yet is because the umbrella isn't included :bleh:

I've ordered a replacement umbrella to fill in where mine goes, hopefully this will help. Pics to follow.

Hi,

I'm in the market for a 350z. (I bought NA04BRZ 350z Gun Metal Grey, new and sold it 2006)

Anyhoo, congrats on a beautiful looking Zed.

At what mileage was the Z at when the dyno was taken and how many miles has the clutch done?

Thanks

Frankie
