SamJ
Hi there guys , thought i'd sign up to the forum as with my current car forums like this have proven a brilliant resource of info. Im currently looking into purchasing a 350z, i have just been on a test drive for a Azure blue 2005 GT which using the guide found here managed to check a few things off. The dealer doesn't have the greatest reviews but the car it's self has bags of history and seemed to check out okay. The second one im off to look at is a private seller of an 04 Kuro GT which is a good 1k cheaper for the same mileage. As well as introducing myself just wondered if either of these cars are known on the forum. HN05 WMD CP04 ZDE Cheers guys

Jords
Welcome along. Personal I would be going for the private seller. The only benefit of the dealers one is warranty, which is usually useless and has that many exceptions that it's not worth having.

SamJ
Cheers for all the replies guys Yeah the private one seems to be a good deal as it has a few extra's on it already (rays, touchscreen) but a bit of research shows it needs pads and rear tyre's haha. Got the test drive for that one next weekend

Jords
Pads and tyres arent anything major, providing the rest of the car is sound. Also a good thing to use when it comes to a deal...

Erni902
If you are prepared to pay the extra £1k for the dealer car then I would go for the private one and use £1k saving to replace the pads and tyres. Also use this as a knockdown on price so you will end up saving over £1k anyway. You will then have the same mileage with brand new tyres and brakes for less than the dealer car twinned with the fact it has an extra 6 months on the MOT over the dealer car Edited January 29, 2017 by Erni902
