14N
No, I haven't been breeding A friend has a £4K (ish) budget and needs a vehicle with 7 seats (although 5+2 like a Discovery would be fine). Any suggestions?
GMballistic
What did Lexx have? ...Ford S Max I think it was. The newer ones will be out of his budget but I bet the older ones could be had for his budget. Can't really recommend anything as I've never had anything that is basically a bus. ZEUS
Are you sure you've not been breeding Ian?
Lexx
Aye I had an S-Max. Thought the spec I had will still set you back £15k. I'd say Ford Galaxy or a Seat Alhambra. It depends on the 2 rear seats and what they are for. If they are to be used regular then you need to look at a Galaxy/Alhambra at the least. If they are just temp seats for now and again, then an S-Max will suit. We replaced our S-Max with an Alhambra in the summer as the Alhambra is a genuine 7 seater and has isofix throughout which is usefull with lots of kids. Also sstill get a boot big enough for a pushchair when rear seats are up. The S-Max has almost zero boot when rear seats are up.
GMballistic
Just thought, what about the Nissan Elgrand? Seen one a few weeks ago that a member bought so it just made me think of it now. Found this one on Pistonheads & there are others (it's a little over budget): http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/nissan/elgrand/nissan-elgrand-highway-star-petrol-3-5-automatic-8-seater/6271630

Ponsonby
Mitsubushi Outlander - Peugeot 4007 Loads of space and 4WD fun - and heaps cheaper than LR The 4007 is built in Japan, same platform as Outlander, so is better bolted together than usual Peugeot stuff. Zeezeebaba
Zafira would be my choice, you don't need to lug the seats out when you do a tip run etc
