Hello everyone,

I'm Wayne, and not an owner of either the 50 or the 70z.....yet.

I'm here to research the cars as I quite fancy a big N/A engine and RWD, and have always adored the looks of the 350.

I've had enough of forced induction, and I think either car could be a good purchase.

I'm currently sorting a sales ad for my 2nd car which seldom gets used - MK1 Focus RS 440bhp, and once it goes I'd potentially buy a big Z, if the cars are reliable, worthwhile and fun to drive.

It would become my main everyday car too.

I'd look for the updated engine from 2008 onwards, GT Pack and standard with good history.

But that it some time away, until my car gets sold.

Anyway, thanks for reading and let the reearch begin lol.

Cheers

Wayno.

Thanks for the welcome guys.

Forgot to say, I'm 38, from Chelmsford, Essex and work in Romford, London.

I've read loads here already. The forum really has everything you need to go out and buy a decent car.

The heads up regarding J17 was a good start.

The penny trick, and tyre profiles for the TCS have all been good to read too.

Thanks again guys.

@Veilside.....A big Z........Well they aren't exactly small engines are they. 3.5 & 3.7 V6's respectively. Sorry I should have elaborated on that lol.

But equally, a car on big rims will do the trick.. :teeth:

Hi Wayne. I came from owning a silky smooth 3.0 V6 406 Coupe for 11 & half years to the not quite as silky smooth 350Z. Both different engines entirely. The 406 Coupe was a quiet, comfortable, effortless motorway mile muncher. The 350Z is not as smooth, but does give off much more of it's V6 noise, especially when the lump is bolted to a decent exhaust system.

I'm sure whether you buy a 350 or 370 you'll be more than chuffed with your car B) .

Absolutely. A deeper exhaust will sort any car i end up buying, a treat.

I have a Milltek on my Focus RS, and it sounds sweet as a nut.

I'll probably go for a 350, purely on looks. Not a lover of the 370's front end over the 350.
