zebedy Posted June 20, 2016 Posted June 20, 2016 Sorry guys, but I still have to share with you all that i'm still chuckling away to myself every time I'm hitting SP8 or so. God it's fun for a hundred squid ! Anyone else still as amused by it like me :teeth: 2 Quote
PPod Posted June 21, 2016 Posted June 21, 2016 Sp10 and downshift into 4th gear that sound alone gets me ever time and makes people @*!# it haha Quote
Kieran O'Quick Posted June 21, 2016 Posted June 21, 2016 Ah, but does it make you actually quicker? Hoping it does... 1 Quote
ZeppoJeff Posted June 21, 2016 Posted June 21, 2016 See im interested in getting one but im not sure if there is any point as ive already had an uprev tune done and had my throttle response altered with that. Anyone else had an uprev prior to the throttle controller? 1 Quote

Anyone else had an uprev prior to the throttle controller? I'll say again, get one, if you don't like it send it back and I will refund you I had it even after supercharging the 350z, still feels like a huge difference. Quote
Alex350z Posted June 22, 2016 Posted June 22, 2016 (edited) Saying that, i sold mine on as i never used it. Yes its fun, but all you have to do is press the pedal harder to get the same effect. I feel like the standard throttle response is a perfect balance as it is, especially with a remap and lightened flywheel. Edited June 22, 2016 by Alex350z 1 Quote
blaqkaudio Posted June 22, 2016 Posted June 22, 2016 I've had an uprev and have one of these, still bags of fun. A friend had a go in Normal then sp10, wouldn't get out of the car afterwards! Quote
Dave6188 Posted July 9, 2016 Posted July 9, 2016 Seriously thinking of buying one of these, does it get rid of the top speed limiter & limits through the first few gears ? Is it easy to fit and where are you all putting the box as I would rather it was concealed/out of view ? Last question is it compatible with the HR ? Quote
d95gas Posted July 9, 2016 Posted July 9, 2016 Have UpRev and still have the controller, just love it on the high Sport modes, just makes you get that silly grin like you were a 5yr old with your first train set...... Its a must Quote
nissanjuke Posted July 9, 2016 Posted July 9, 2016 I have fun at sp4 so it must be superfun at sp8 Quote
monkeybrain1234 Posted July 11, 2016 Posted July 11, 2016 Everyday Driving SP3 Going for it SP8 Best mod I got , it basically makes the throttle more sensitive than before, without it the pedal feels delayed and restricted. Quote
monkeybrain1234 Posted July 11, 2016 Posted July 11, 2016 Are they hard to fit? It could not be easier. Unplug a few connectors, replug and done. Took me longer to decide where to put the controller than actually connecting it up! 1 Quote
Stan Posted July 12, 2016 Posted July 12, 2016 Are they hard to fit? There is a great how-to guide on here (with pics) that I followed when fitting mine, it is such a simple mod. Hardest part was fitting my body upside down to get to the throttle connector Quote
GizmoGold Posted July 15, 2016 Posted July 15, 2016 I love mine! Every now and thn I think I'll drive sensibly and put it in Eco...10s later and it's back at SP4 😆 I'll have to give SP8 a go! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Quote
Adam B Posted July 20, 2016 Posted July 20, 2016 I`ve also been so so about getting one, all it does is trick the ecu. Does it affect the driveabilty of the car that much? Not a fan of electronic throttles so any improvement would be nice Quote
iLott Posted August 10, 2016 Posted August 10, 2016 Stumbled across this and want to know more. Would this be beneficial on a supercharged Zed? Even after being mapped? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Quote
jamez87 Posted August 11, 2016 Posted August 11, 2016 If you have ever driven a car with sport mode, like a e46 m3 for example, then its just like that but you have more control over it. Makes the car more responsive on throttle and you will feel like your going faster then you are, until your used to it. Beneficial well I'm not sure, as you can just plant your foot harder i guess but it is a fun gimmick/toy. Though, setting off is a lot better! Quote
Ollydykins Posted August 16, 2016 Posted August 16, 2016 I need to ask, are they really worth the money? Got my Name in for a group buy (I hope) and was actually looking for a review so may aswell as you guys Olly Quote
d95gas Posted August 16, 2016 Posted August 16, 2016 Most definitely worth it, wouldn't be without mine now, you can even dumb down the accelerator on the motorway with the aim of "Fuel economy", but the sport mode definitely transforms the drive and make it a lot more interesting 1 Quote
