CJRamze Posted June 1, 2016 Posted June 1, 2016 I'm sorry if this is the wrong section but I'm getting my wheels refurbed tomorrow. Standard OEM Rays. I was going gloss black on my black 350 but the guy just suggested Bronze... So I can't decide now, what do you think? Sent from my SM-N910F using Tapatalk Quote
Mikevv Posted June 1, 2016 Posted June 1, 2016 I was in the same boat as you not long ago - I went with the safe option of anthracite Bronze can look the nuts on a black car, but not with OEM Rays I don't think - They're too plain for such a bold move. I mean you're welcome to go for it but only if you post pics AND get matching center caps 1 Quote
MrChow Posted June 2, 2016 Posted June 2, 2016 bit of both, Bronze with Black lips?? different... Quote

Not sure if Bronze will suit them... I might just take a punt and see what happens. The guy there is convinced it will look good and originally it was his idea. Will have to find out this afternoon. Will report back with pictures. Sent from my SM-N910F using Tapatalk Quote
Juggalo Posted June 2, 2016 Posted June 2, 2016 Bronze really suits rays imo. Definitely not black though. Quote
Payco Posted June 2, 2016 Posted June 2, 2016 Black will make them look smaller than they actually are.Candy red for the win.You will be surprised how good it looks. Quote
veilside z Posted June 2, 2016 Posted June 2, 2016 have seen Lime and Red rays in black. It depends if you want to make a statement Quote
TomBorehamUK Posted June 2, 2016 Posted June 2, 2016 I think a nice subtle shade of bronze works well, have been contemplating it on my grey Z. 1 Quote
mdunbar Posted June 2, 2016 Posted June 2, 2016 Bronze on a black car. Black or silver on a grey or silver car in my opinion. Quote
FiddyZed Posted June 2, 2016 Posted June 2, 2016 Bronze would look awesome on a black car, anyone good with photoshop? Could quickly mockup a black z with bronze rays? Quote
Zeezeebaba Posted June 2, 2016 Posted June 2, 2016 Bronze all day on black or grey. IMO obviously but I think the transition of body colour then a bronze wheel finished off with the more orange Brembo s would look pretty classy. Quote
CJRamze Posted June 2, 2016 Author Posted June 2, 2016 I'm not going to lie guys, I took into consideration what you were saying. I was thinking to myself 'Bronze would look great... but maybe not on stock Rays?" and then MikeVV said exactly what I was thinking. I tossed and turned and as they were about to mix the paint... I changed to part gloss part satin black. Sorry guys, I chickened out. Mrs says I should of stuck with Bronze but to be honest I'm super happy with how they turned out, The next wheels I buy will be bigger, wider and bronze for sure. Heres a quick (And very bad snap) however the wheels look AMAZING in person! Quote
Far2lively Posted June 2, 2016 Posted June 2, 2016 Bronze ftw 😎 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Quote
