GT4 Zed
Hi guys. As some of you already know and some have probably guessed. Myself and Paul decided to buy the Bitch - Keyser's old car. The plan when we bought it wasn't really set in stone but we knew there were some parts on the car that we both wanted and secondly we thought it was a shame that such an iconic car was lying unloved and not doing what it was meant to do. After 2 weeks of inspecting and stripping some parts off the car I have found a nice rust free underside and we have decided to put the car back to OEM and have it freshly painted to give a new owner the chance of a getting a really nice car. We decided therefore to fully strip the car off all the non-OEM parts to offer to the forum, Ebay etc to fund the rebirth of the car. The option of restoring the car back to her former glory was not feasible as the cost of rebuilding the blown engine and making the car more neutral so as to attract a bigger market made it uneconomical. The task of restoring the car has not been easy as there are many custom connections and technical challenges but eventually we are almost there. As for the blown engine, we are rebuilding it and swapping it for Paul's 50,000 mile one. Coincidentally the mileage reads circa50,000 on both cars which is handy. Looks like it was written in the stars. I'm almost certain the car ran low on oil and spun a bearing we ceased the engine. Initial inspection and strip is promising as there oil pan is free of debris and mayonnaise. The cylinders and pistons tops look in good nick. The block external looks intact. We will get full diagnostics when it will be fully stripped down. The plan is to use the ported heads and cans but rebuilt using 9.5:1 compression forged pistons to suit Pauls needs. We are aiming for 550whp. A list of parts that are available is included below and I'll add prices shortly once everything has been thoroughly inspected and or refurbished from the car to make sure we're happy to sell them. Everything will have a good description of condition. Because we are restoring the car I would be requiring OEM parts for swap. If you do not have or want to swap it is not an issue. I will adjust the price to reflect this. List. You do realize it's not being saved..... It's being stripped of what made it the bitch and a "restored" to a somewhat stock spec RIP ..... GT4 Zed
You are wrong there. The bitch was dead until we rescued this project. There has been lots of talk from many quarters here about it but no commitment. There is nothing easy about stripping her and it's the only way it would survive. On paper it looks like a bargain but the car was it particularly well kept and lots of parts will need refurbishing. A lot of the installations were hardwired or spliced into thousand pieces that will render a lot of the parts useless. The bitch will live on in many other zeds and that's a good thing. Long live the bitch.

tubbyandy
I'd be interested in prices on the nismo knob, carbon b pillars, ARBs, gearbox mount Also the nitrous set up though it'd be for a Honda b series so not sure on fitment

350Chris
I'll log an interest in the short shifter and gearbox mount please (if this is the right place to do so) Edited April 7, 2016 by 350Chris
P15UL T
Thanks for the interest guys. Yes it is going to be a very time consuming task to restore the car to a good oem model but worth it. Me driving 6 hours each way everytime I take a trip down is.... Fun lol. And Bennet spending any spare minute stripping the parts off and organising them to be refurbed is a task in itself. If your interested in any parts please do us a joint pm just Incase we miss anything on this thread. I believe Bennet has spoke to Will from Admin and arranged to make a donation to the forum to allow us to sell you guys the parts :-) Hopefully later today Bennet will have the finished price list for what's available Ps. We're not rebuilding the engine ourselves. Leaving that the the specialists ;-) Paul
Keyser
I'd be interested in prices on the nismo knob, carbon b pillars, ARBs, gearbox mount Also the nitrous set up though it'd be for a Honda b series so not sure on fitment FYI - The NOS kit is a wizards of NOS system with control unit, can retro fit on any car and the control unit links into the car's ECU for rev control, it will also pick up gear if the ECU has the output so you can set different boost duration for each gear so normally none in 1st bit at the top of second loads in 3rd etc etc, I did put all the wiring diagrams and instructions in with the car when I sold it but that was over 2 years ago so they may not be with it anymore, I have copies somewhere if you or anyone needs help with it. It also has a custom built warning light system but that will probably be to hard to separate out now, but the kit had everything 2 bottles both with heaters the control unit injectors, solenoids etc So Bennet should be able to get the lot together for you or whoever has it Failing that they can give it back to me and I'll put it on the Radical - I'll be able to catch Andy James in a straight line that way
GT4 Zed
Hey Chris thanks for all your input! I have to raise my hat to you and say this you are a mad man but you have earned my respect. I had no diagrams and had to follow every wire, splice connector etc before I could make sense of it all. It is a major achievement how all that was working beneath the surfaceðŸ‘ðŸ‘. I felt so sorry when I saw the bitch in this garage and she had not been looked after right but not deliberately. The previous owner did spend money try to get her going but he wasn't the kind of car guy like you and me who can look after such an temperamental asset. I told you to sell me told wheels back in the day and that's what I bought the car for😉. I'll give you a shout if any hiccups or guidance etc. @forum: I'm working through the list setting prices and the pm list so I get the dibs correctly. Be patient. Just been from a night shift so it my take a while. Please in the case someone wanted everything together it will be considered first before splitting. Cheers.
