chrislich Posted March 24, 2016 Posted March 24, 2016 Just a question really? Don't plan on doing it I'm just curious on peoples views? Should it just be reserved for the actual nismo or if someone has nismo parts and im not talking radiator cap Quote
valy Posted March 24, 2016 Posted March 24, 2016 simple..when you drive a nismo version... to me is like an e46 318 with an M3 badge my view Quote
Robchriscross Posted March 24, 2016 Posted March 24, 2016 Full body kit at least imo Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk Quote

GMballistic Posted March 24, 2016 Posted March 24, 2016 simple..when you drive a nismo version... to me is like an e46 318 with an M3 badge my view +1. I agree with this. Each to their own though if that's what they want to do (stick badges/stickers on their cars claiming to be a better car/model) but just not something I'd do. Quote
Ekona Posted March 24, 2016 Posted March 24, 2016 Depends. If you've got Nismo parts on, and don't put the Nismo badge in the same place as the genuine Nismo car, then I say go for it. Nismo is as much about styling as performance these days anyway, so might as well do as Nissan does. 3 Quote
nrenz123 Posted March 24, 2016 Posted March 24, 2016 Interesting. I'm just putting the last of the 2015 370z nismo kit on my car. I have all the badges but have not yet fitted them. In all honesty I probably will. Quote
nrenz123 Posted March 24, 2016 Posted March 24, 2016 I guess putting any part of the nismo kit on is imitating to a point. Quote
-Bradders- Posted March 24, 2016 Posted March 24, 2016 I have a nismo hat can I put one on my car? 4 Quote
Darkside Posted March 24, 2016 Posted March 24, 2016 Surely, it's only if you have a factory nismo or the nismo conversion in order to be able to put the vehicle badge on. Otherwise you can have Nismo stickers on the vehicle as the name Nismo is just Nissan Motorsport which is like having a Greddy or Mishimoto sticker on if you have parts. IMHO that is. Quote
Ekona Posted March 24, 2016 Posted March 24, 2016 Even Nissan themselves admit that Nismo is as much a styling exercise as it is performance these days (GT-R excluded), so if the brand is diluted that's their own fault. It's exactly like what Vauxhall did to the VXR brand by putting it on a bloody Meriva and Zafira. 1 Quote

Leave it naked my friend! Quote
Wayne370Z Posted March 24, 2016 Posted March 24, 2016 Easy. It`s only okay if it came from the factory with the NISMO badge on. Quote

chrislich Posted March 24, 2016 Author Posted March 24, 2016 Got some good discussion points there. Like it. I'd agree with the point about leaving the car naked if having the kit. I like how my nismo exhaust clearly has nosmo showing. Quote

The G Man Posted March 24, 2016 Posted March 24, 2016 Put anything you want on your car, it's your car . Until someone else is paying the bills for it, it's all your own decision. In saying that, it's a bit wannabe 1 Quote

SHEZZA Posted March 25, 2016 Posted March 25, 2016 I'm not a big lover of decals on cars , having said that I don't mind the nismo ones and I have one or two ! :-) Quote
