  1. Correct I ordered this JOBD reader from Amazon which works, but it appears to be pit of stock currently - https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00WDOLHOE/ref=pe_385721_51767431_TE_dp_1https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00WDOLHOE/ref=pe_385721_51767431_TE_dp_1
  2. If it is genuine Nismo, the Nismo logo and part number will be fibre-glassed into the underside of the spoiler.
  3. I have a genuine Nismo V2 spoiler and the uprated SKU 1750 work fine, until it snows and the boot lid gets covered. Then it's lethal if you are leaning over to put things in the boot
  4. The YouTube video following yours is the same warm start problem but on a Nissan Murano, caused by the check valve on the fuel pump. He replaced the fuel pump to fix the problem
  5. You can test the drop links by parking with two wheels on the pavement kerb, turn the steering to full lock and then drive off the kerb. If it's the drop links you should hear a clunk when the car drops back onto the road.
  6. Yes, first registration on the DVLA form is for the date first registered in Japan - month/year e.g. mine was 02/2004.
  7. My MTEC drilled and grooved discs have done 40,000 miles without cracking on a 350Z. Pads are from the Ferodo Premier range, e.g. FDB1561 fronts. This is just normal road use, and I'm not the King of late braking on the road and don't do track days.
  8. I used Paul at http://www.japautoagent.com/ and I'd recommend him, particularly if you are looking for a good low mileage model.
  9. Had the same symptoms although mine would eventually go up to 120 psi and stick there. I bought the following 25070CD00A Oil Pressure Sensor from eBay which cured it completely: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/25070CD00A-Oil-Pressure-Sensor-Sender-Switch-Fit-Nissan-Altima-Armada-Frontier/183441585101?hash=item2ab5f873cd:g:DdkAAOSw0iBboKYL:rk:1:pf:0 Note the genuine looking Nissan packaging
  10. Works a treat: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/25070CD00A-Oil-Pressure-Sensor-Sender-Switch-Fit-Nissan-Altima-Armada-Frontier/183441585101?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649
  11. Like the looks, what did you fabricate the rear diffuser fins with?
  12. Try Adrian at Torqen, that's who I bought mine from: https://www.350z-uk.com/profile/14620-adriantorqen/
  13. Agreed, I can't see all the work I did on the interior of my plenum
  14. The standard plenum doesn't have that much clearance past the end of the air intake runners, so unless the trumpets are longer, something like that with less clearance to the trumpets should be possible. Maybe starting with aluminium sheet as a backing plate attached between the throttle bodies and the trumpets, and then fabricate a box containing a circular inlet that will fasten to this. Ideally you want to feed cool air in from a high air pressure area such as through the grille. If they will fit a DE, I'd use two 350Z HR air-boxes and then connect these to the boxes surrounding the trumpets. The HR air-boxes could then be fed by something like the EVO-R cold air intake. See my efforts on my DE: http://s12.photobucket.com/user/GrahameJ/media/IMG_2404_zpsvx8xzzzi.jpg.html
  15. Low volume knock at low speeds hitting bumps is probably due to the drop links on the anti-roll bar, which are cheap and easy to replace. The squeaks could be from the ant-roll bar rubber bushes, again cheap and easy to replace, and worth replacing with SuperPro polyurethane bushes which retain the grease better, and improve the handling on bumpy roads. If your compression arm bearing has gone then it would be better to do that first!
  16. Looks like people aren't filling in the DVLA registration form properly, mine was £245 last year and will be £255 this year for a 2004 import. First registration on the form is for Japan, which was 02/2004 in my case.
  17. September 1st 2015. When filling out the DVLA form you need to put the date the car was first registered in Japan - 02/2004 in my case. I used Japautoagent Ltd and they got me a car with 10,000 mileage and no rust, and filled out the DVLA form. Worth ringing Paul there before you go on holiday: http://www.japautoagent.com/
  18. £255 for an import FairladyZ 2004
  19. You will save on road tax with an import too, my 2004 FairladyZ was £245.00 last year and will be £255.00 this year.
  20. You could try warming the bumper up, taking care to keep the heat gun moving and don't linger in one spot, or you will bubble the paint. I did When it is warm to touch by hand then tighten up the ties you have used to secure it.
  21. It goes on a lot easier if you wet the wrap first, allowing it to stretch when working around curved pipes.
  22. Fettling Polyurethane - warm it up with a heat gun, shape it and hold in position (possibly with self-tapping screws) until it cools off. Hope that helps. See:
  23. How about the lower part where the heater dials go?
