zebedy Posted January 12, 2016 Posted January 12, 2016 Hi guys. Insurance is up in a week or so time. Need fully completed on my car. Slightly modded. Aftermarket wheels and a generic body kit. That's it. Everything else is standard. Quote
Jonnymonno Posted January 12, 2016 Posted January 12, 2016 I've just renewed my heavily modded supercharged 370 with Livingstones Warman on here for £443.00 all in Well pleased Give them a try 3 Quote
GMballistic Posted January 12, 2016 Posted January 12, 2016 Also worth trying Adrian Flux for a quote ~ they were the best priced insurer for me on my old s/c Zed. 1 Quote
Adrian@TORQEN Posted January 12, 2016 Posted January 12, 2016 Try the usual suspects, most of them present here on the forum: - Sky Insurance - Bridle Insurance - AdrianFlux - Prestige Car Insurance - Chris Knott Insurance and so on. 1 Quote
350zedd Posted January 12, 2016 Posted January 12, 2016 Liverpool Victoria with mods around 300 quid for me 1 Quote
zebedy Posted January 12, 2016 Author Posted January 12, 2016 (edited) Great. That's more than enough. I'm 46 with 10 years ncb. My premium was 280 fc. Now with the mods they want 500 so best to look around. Been with Basildon insurance for last 6 years. Insurers are ageas. Edited January 12, 2016 by ZZZebady Quote
veilside z Posted January 13, 2016 Posted January 13, 2016 Interesting to know of the others. I tried SKY but ended up with Chris Knott as a much cheaper option. Quote
Justthejedi Posted January 13, 2016 Posted January 13, 2016 Try esure, I'm 45, 10 years ncb, slight mods, £265 FC. 1 Quote
coldel Posted January 13, 2016 Posted January 13, 2016 Chris Knott for me - whoever you use make sure you quote the forum and get any discount. Quote
Jonnymonno Posted January 13, 2016 Posted January 13, 2016 Second were Prestige at £490 but £500 excess and 3rd Chris Knott at £890 so well worth ringing around Quote
ioneabee Posted January 13, 2016 Posted January 13, 2016 I haven't been able to get better than Privilige for the last few years - £300 with all mods declared Quote
Jay Kay Posted January 13, 2016 Posted January 13, 2016 I moved to Admiral this year , who accepted my few mods - Nismo Kit, 19's, HFC, intakes - but I must be honest, their service was absolutely shocking! Quote
Jonnymonno Posted January 13, 2016 Posted January 13, 2016 They all went pretty quiet when i declared how much i spent on mods and one being a supercharger kit Quote
Reece350z Posted January 16, 2016 Posted January 16, 2016 I'm 20 and went with elephant for £800 with a crash! Quote
Ekona Posted January 16, 2016 Posted January 16, 2016 Be aware folks, those of you with the Admiral group aren't covered for the value of your mods should you have an accident. 2 Quote
zebedy Posted January 20, 2016 Author Posted January 20, 2016 ok all sorted. Renewal from Aegeas waa £538 with the misus on too. Prestige - £589 with me only WTF?! Adrian Flux - £389 agreed valuation, full cover for the mods, free roadside and free key replacement and all the usual stuff. Guess who I went with........................ Quote
Ekona Posted January 20, 2016 Posted January 20, 2016 Any issues with the agreed valuation? Who did you use for that? Quote

Ekona Posted January 20, 2016 Posted January 20, 2016 Depends on insurer, call them to confirm. As a rule, I'd say yes but they may not charge for it. Quote
